Mucho Gusto! What an awesome concept. Fast, quick, fresh and nutritious food. I've been craving for a place like this to open near me. This one happens to be in the Avalon in Alpharetta, and the owner told me there are future plans to expand into Duluth/John's Creek. On my first visit I got the Mango Chicken Salad (see pic) with extra avocado on top for just $2 extra dollars. Oh boy, I could probably eat this salad everyday for lunch. (Nice job daughter!) The menu consists of "bowls" or in a wrap. Pick a base of rice or salad, a protein if you prefer, and then the house combinations of remaining items to add in. My wife and I went with the Tahini cucumber feta with chicken bowl, and the tzatziki lemon artichoke with chicken bowl. Service was fast and friendly. Very helpful for 1st timers. At first the portions looked a bit small. However by the time we hit the bottom of the bowls, we were stuffed! It was very filling. And the flavor?? Total flavor town! What a complete delight. I'm actually a little shocked that I've never tried gusto before till now! This location is in the Avalon mall. So there's plenty of parking spots around. Gusto has indoor and outdoor seating, which is pretty spacious! I also liked that the menu is small, so no option fatigue here and pretty quick in deciding what to order. Was swamped at work and finally ordered Gusto through DoorDash for a late lunch. I got the Stumptown cold brew with oat milk, a GF chewy marshmallow bar and the chipotle mango avocado bowl. For the bowl, I used half mixed green, half brown rice, with grilled umami tofu and extra avocado. It was so good and extremely filling. This spot is perfect for a quick and yummy lunch! I came here with my friends and we were quickly welcomed by a worker who kindly explained to us how to order. I went with the sweet soy sriracha with tofu on half rice half greens. Every order comes with a free side of sweet potato chips! The food came out so quickly and i had to wait for probably less than 2 minutes. They weren't accepting cash and only card when i was there since they had no change. The food was so filling, looked delicious, and tasted so good! I definitely recommend giving this place a try and the indoor and outdoor seating is well spaced and super clean :) read more

The grand opening for this location was November 5, 2020. The previous restaurant was a barbeque place I had visited once before for drinks. There is outdoor seating with tables and chairs along with outdoor and indoor seating next to a window that can be opened to let fresh air into the restaurant. Gusto offers salad bowls (mixed greens), brown, long-grain rice bowls, or wraps with various ingredients including grilled chicken, grilled spicy chicken, grilled salmon, shrimp, umami tofu, avocado, and a variety of dressings. I like the mixed greens with brown rice in a bowl with chicken. The spicy chicken was perfectly spicy. It was a little bit of spice but not overpowering. Each order includes sweet potato chips. They offer a variety of drinks but my favorite is their lemonade. The staff is nice and the food is good. This location is at Avalon and there is a lot of free lot parking and garage parking as well as some metered parking when your drive along the streets of Avalon next to the retail shops. This is the first OTP Gusto! location and is a great addition to the shops of Avalon. read more

Oh gusto!, where have you been all my life? Located in Avalon, right next to the Whole Foods and across from Ted's Montana Grill, this is my new favorite restaurant in Avalon. I have to say that not many places have done well in this location, but I think gusto! will be here to stay. You can't miss it. Just look for the bright yellow sign and you know you're there. Right when you walk in, it is welcoming clean and fresh. A huge menu is posted on the wall and they also have paper ones you can use. You order at the cash register right when you walk in and then you find your seat. Everything is made fresh as soon as you order it, but don't worry it doesn't take long to be served at all. Once it is ready, they bring it to your seat and you can enjoy. Not only are the dishes beautiful in different color ingredients, they taste even better! My favorite dish is the chipotle mango avocado bowl with grilled chicken and half fresh greens and half rice. I like this one because it's a good mix of sweet and savory. These bowls are very filling. I was surprised at how full I felt after eating. I can't imagine how filling the wraps would be, but I plan to try them soon. The sauce that came with mine is very yummy, not spicy at all! Pro tip: get extra sauce-you won't regret it! Each meal comes with a bag of sweet potato chips. These are made in house and very yummy. I think they add a nice crunch to the meal. They also offer a freestyle soda machine, where you can mix and match your favorite sodas. In addition, they have tea and lemonade options. I also noticed that they had beer and wine options as well, so obviously something for everyone! Save room for dessert, because they have brownies, rice crispy treats, & cookies! I tried the gluten free brownie and couldn't even tell it was gluten free. I loved it! The staff at gusto! are beyond friendly and pleasant. They answered all my questions about the dishes they offered and even let me try a sample of the toppings before ordering, so I could make sure it wasn't too spicy for me. They are willing to accommodate any preferences that you have with your order, so you truly get to customize your meal. I also had the pleasure of utilizing their catering services and worked with Nestor. He was efficient at collecting our orders and delivering our meals on time. The catered meals got rave reviews from everyone. We will definitely be using their catering services again! It is a great option during COVID-19, because they offer grab and go lunches. Came here for lunch last week with a coworker. Parking is rather difficult. I ended up parking across teds it was the only place I could find openings. I ordered the chipotle mango wrap with shrimp and a water. My total came out to $16 The meal came with sweet potato chips. I personally am not a fan of sweet potatoes so I gave them to my coworker. It would be nice if they offered another one or two side option. My coworker said she enjoyed them though. As for the wrap. The shrimp tasted fresh and was seasoned well but I felt the portion size was very small especially for the price point :( the wrap also had avocado, mango, black bean, cheese and corn in it. The wrap was okay. I didn't feel like there was much to it to be honest. I just felt it could maybe use more ingredients and a spicier sauce or something. I got the chipotle flat bread and my husband got the bowl version. The flat bread was soggy and cold... even when they'd "just" made the order. I ordered a bowl for my son off the kids menu... which was literally brown rice and your choice of meat. To top it all off, even though we were the only table in the restaurant, they forgot our drink and our son's drink with his meal. Food was as mediocre as its service.
