My partner and I spent a week in Menton, along the French-Italian border, and snacked here for multiple days. At first we were stopped when we were intrigued by their colorful focaccia sandwiches with thinly sliced tomatoes and generous amounts of mozzarella. Then I discovered their absolutely perfect pistachio croissants, with green stripes in the crust and pistachio paste on the inside. They could speak English, though they were also willing to entertain my beginner French as I ordered a sandwich, croissant, coffee, and fresh pressed orange juice. By my second visit, they were already ready to add this orange juice to my morning order, when they saw how much I savored each glass. The place is very grab and go, though there is a small amount of outdoor seating. The people who run it are friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a quick but completely satisfying bite while out in Menton, check this place out. Fair warning - their food is all made fresh in the morning and will run out if you wait too long. Get the focaccia sandwich in the morning so you don't regret missing out by the lunch rush! read more
