Good pizza, great pasta. The mushroom ravioli was delicious. Our kids were leased to have authentic pizza while on vacation.

A laid back wood fired pizza spot with a super cool, relaxed ambience and the friendliest energy. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and honestly I've never had anything like it. It's insanely good. Pair it with their habanero sauce and jalapeños and it is literally fire. Perfectly cooked, bold flavor, unforgettable. We also ordered the Caprese with apples, almonds, and beets and wow. Such a fresh and different take on a salad. Every ingredient tasted so clean and vibrant. My tummy was genuinely happy after this meal, which says a lot. It's not far from where we're staying near Azulik, which made it even better. The vibe is effortless, chill, and welcoming. Bonus points for the two local cats, who are absolutely adorable and add so much charm to the place. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the menu has so many choices that there is truly something for everyone. If pizza is your love language and you're anywhere near Tulum, Boccanera is a must visit.

It is a very…read moresmall restaurant with limited tables for larger parties (they had two small cafe style pushed together for a 7 top when we were there). We put our name on a list, but no phone number was given so really it's a wait for a table or come back type of situation. We ended up leaving and coming back 40 mins later and were sat quickly outside. The pizzas are OUTSTANDING! I think the reviews all say that and it's the truth. The crust is Neapolitan style thinner crust but the flavor is just spot on! The toppings and sauce are well balanced. The roasted chicken was a great addition to the vegetarian. If they made cheese sticks with a marinara sauce with that crust it would be a HUGE seller! The green salad was pretty standard and not much that was memorable or forgettable, just good and as expected. Unfortunately, the bruschetta was a huge let down -- we literally received halved cherry tomatoes on a piece of bread. They served it with olive oil to drizzle, but that did not even come close to what we expected. There are a few cats that roam the outside patio, but they don't bother you much. The staff was welcoming and we had good conversation with the server even for it being 20 mins before they closed.

We went here twice for dinners during our stay and countless times for a dessert - I don't even want to admit the amount of times we went back for their tiramisu. They had $8 pizzas, and being used to USA prices and sizes thought it would be small. It was not. It was comically large. We got two the first time, but it was fun because it made excellent leftovers for our pool days. The pepperoni, four cheese, and margaritas were all great - thin crust, doughy enough on the outside edges. I wouldn't change a thing. I was very impressed. We wanted to try their tiramisu and like I said earlier it hit! The BEST I've ever had. I am already missing that after traveling home. My besties parents joked we should have bought the sheet pan of the tiramisu. Believe me, if this was an option, we would have! Service was always friendly and welcoming.

Everything is absolutely EXCELLENT here. Visit one, we enjoyed pizza- four cheese, pepperoni, and margarita, fries, guacamole, and yummy n/a piña colada. OH! I cannot forget the OUT OF THIS WORLD tiramisu! Let me tell you this is the VERY BEST tiramisu I've ever had. Each time I had it, it got better, and better. I literally don't want to share a bite with anyone ever! Next time I come to Tulum, I will be getting it DAILY, instead of 4 out of 7 times. I have no shame! Our service from the same 3 servers each visit were great each and every time. They were friendly and so nice. I laughed each time we went in there wondering if they knew it was us, again? Haha! This is such a fun laid back vibe. The jams are spot on and makes you wanna sing and dance (which I did). The lights and trees are amazing as well. Definitely a spot you don't wanna pass up in Tulum. Pizza is huge and the cost is ridiculously fantastic- I still cannot get over it. Yummy yummy place and it's even better because it's a short walk from our place. Winninggggg! Pizzeria Manglar keep up the great work and I cannot wait until I'm back oh so SOON!

We ordered guacamole and chips along with a spicy margarita. The plate of guacamole was huge and very good. That could easily have fed me, but we had also wanted to try the pizza and had ordered the margarita with burrata. The pizza was definitely of the flatbread variety which we love. It was crisp and there was plenty of burrata to spread between all of the slices. The flavor was really good. We both really enjoyed it. We were stuffed after eating both of those items so couldn't try any dessert. The only downside was the margarita. I like mine tart, but this one didn't taste like there was any sweetener at all. It appeared to be just lime juice and tequila which was just not the way I like them. Other than that we had a very good meal and if we were staying for a while I'm sure we would return to Cinco again.

This review is based off their breakfast/brunch experience…read more Located in Aldea Zama, our group was hungry for a quick brunch and this spot came highly recommended from friends, Digital Nomad's who have been living in Tulum for the past couple of months. We came in around 11am and they were able to sit out group of 8 immediately. We started off with a couple orders of guacamole. Really solid guac here, the only thing that threw me off was the pomegranate seeds. Definitely would've preferred them not in there, not the kinda texture I'm used to when eating guac. I also had a taste of the tuna poke. The poke itself was really good, fish tasted fresh. What threw it off was the rice, which was uncooked making it not edible. It was brunch so I decided to go with the chilaquiles. I thought was ok, but my friends really enjoyed it. The portion size was pretty big and overall the price for a meal here wasn't as outrageous as the prices on the main strip in Tulum. Being that they are an mainly Italian spot that also serves Mexican food, I think ordering here for dinner would be the play here. For breakfast/brunch, it missed the mark for me. Bonus points for having solid wifi though.
