Since owning my car for about 6 years I think I've been there twice for a service and 3 times for an MOT. I've found them to be reliable and efficient but haven't been there since I've found cheaper alternatives...apart from last year when they sent me a voucher for a free MOT. I think they wanted me back as a customer so I went and expected perhaps they might be slow because it was free - but they were very quick. I took it in and went for a wander round Avon Meads retail park - returned in an hour and they offered me a drink then 5 minutes later my car was ready. I was very pleased and would consider going back there, price dependent.

I had to book myself in here in a hurry after my alternator conked out and they took it in without any fuss. The RAC towtruck had a bit of a struggle getting the car into Citrotec's car park- it's not exactly spacious and is a bit lacking in turning space- but once it was in it all ran very smoothly. The staff were friendly, happy to look at it promptly, phoned me to tell me how they were getting on, and I was able to pick the car up again 24 hours later. In the meantime I'd done some searching on the Internet to see what the damage was going to be for the cost of fitting a new alternator, and from a Google search it looked like I was going to have to shell out £300-£450, so I was pleasantly surprised when Citrotec charged me £204 including parts and labour. It's not exactly a big place and not too clean or posh-looking at first but if that helps keeps the costs down then that's fine by me, that's what this kind of garage is for. I'll be booking my next regular service in here.

I've since investigated to find that those fans are available brand new for £175 and constitute 3 bolts and 3 plugs to replace it. You can't tell me that's £956 worth. What's worse is ife discovered that there isn't anything wrong with the blower motor it works fine. The issue is with cabling that occurs between the blower motor and the engine bay, even the wire they pictured with slight heat marks is absolutely fine... so I'm guessing they would have replaced the motor charging me almost £1000 then made me pay to replace the cable harness as well so judging by that cost.. it would have cost more than the value of the car to replace a perfectly fine fan motor and some cables.. which I can do for less than £200. Absolute robbery. I guess they are used to people who know nothing about cars and choose to take advantage of that ignorance to make a profit. Absolutely disgusting. Needless to say I wont be going back there and I'm certainly not spending more than £1000 to fix something that isn't broken and basically write off the car because of it.

I believe this was due to a poor review I gave them a year ago on the service department. Very sad. Notable individuals who were less than honest with me or failed to return calls ...Ryan and Dean. I must say the outstanding employee their is Lisa. Lisa you deserve better than this from your so called colleagues.

I bought my Lexus from Oxford and brought it home to Bristol. Having owned several "prestige" cars…read more(BMW, Mercedes) - I expected the same aloof and uncaring attitude from the Lexus dealership - but how wrong I was. They are friendly, helpful and just really nice to deal with! As you'd expect, the Lexus itself is very reliable, I had one issue - which was dealt with in a professional, nice manner by the dealership and was quickly resolved. I think this is how customer service is SUPPOSED to be, but isn't in most cases. The comparison between the Bristol BMW (you know who I mean!), dealer and Lexus is poles apart - really and honestly, I'd buy another Lexus as it has been a pleasure in dealing with them - and NO, I don't work for Lexus and I'm not being paid to say this ;-)
