After four years of my daughter attending this gym we have left…read more There were a couple of classes where a young male substitute teacher taught her class whom I thought was extremely rude. My daughter was uncomfortable because she's never had a male teacher and she is quite shy to be in with. When she won't give him a high five he would make her feel uncomfortable. I thought maybe things would change once she was more comfortable around him. She had one make up class to use before it expired. They only class that was available was with this teacher. I told him I signed her up for his class which he seemed happy. Now to the day of her makeup class. My daughter asked a question that he would not answer her. At the same time two other girls ask similar questions that he answered right away. He made her stand in the middle of the class until she answered her own question. This happened a second time but to make it worse he stopped the whole class to answer another girls question and again made my daughter stand to try to answer her own question. He then told her to go do something and get out of the way. This is not her normal class so she was not use to his style of couching. She did not want to return if her normal teacher was not going to be there because this young male teacher was her back up. It got to the point she would ask her teacher if she will be here next week. If he talked to students like this when there parents are sitting right there I can't imagine how he treats the girls when their parents aren't there. We started looking for another gym because she was so uncomfortable. We finally found one that she will make her new home. My daughter had one last class before her monthly enrollment was up. As we walked out she was really sad. We talked for a couple of minutes. She had a change of heart and wanted to talk to her teacher about what happen. There was no compassion towards my daughter. I was told that she doesn't want to discuss this matter that she thinks very highly of him. Also, he was her back up. She didn't let her discuss what happen or I am sorry that happen or I am sorry you felt that way. After this we walked out knowing we made the right decision to leave a gym after four years and almost $3000!

The staff has been kind and patient with my toddler. It's been such a fun experience to watch him blossom and develop his confidence doing the obstacles and activities during our time attending. would not recommend this gym for toddlers-the expectations are a bit too high and the instructing…read morestaff are less than patient. the structured circuit classes are too busy for children under 3 - so you will have a learning curve, but the instructors lack recognition of early childhood development cycles and therefore on the complaint of other parents will request that you take a break from attending- this in turn is profit for the establishment and a loss for the parents who purchased the non-refundable class. children of this age are developing social skills and attempting to adapt to a structured learning environment, my suggestion is to train staff a bit more in this area or not offer classes of this caliber to this age group if expecting 6 year old behavior from toddlers. also, the facilities are not very clean! I recommend professional cleaning for this establishment and more hygienic stations throughout.

They will take your rental fee, but they really don't want pickleball at their facility. To: jennifer@thecourtsofnwi.com Wed, Nov 12 at 9:33 PM Jennifer - We rented a court tonight from 7:30 to 9p for pickleball. When we arrived, we lowered the net to pickleball height. The man on the court next to us, who I'm told is the Chesterton HS tennis coach, yelled at us, "Do not adjust the nets". I went back up to the net to put it back to it's original position and again he yelled, "Do not adjust the nets", I told him we were putting the next back to the original height. Again, he yelled, "Do not adjust the nets". If there is a rule that the nets cannot be adjusted for pickleball, that's fine, but it needs to be communicated by the staff at the time of the rental. Alternately, the man on the court next to us could have come over and said, "Ladies, you probably don't know this, but we don't adjust the nets here because of XYZ". Four 50-something year old women being repeatedly yelled on a court we rented at $45/hour was not a good experience. In the future, please let rentals know they are not allowed the adjust the net.

The teachers are great, they give personalized attention to the kids with the aim to help them grow mentally and physically. They are very careful around smaller kids and it's a great way to have them interact. They have been super understanding and helpful in pandemic. Cleaning the gym thoroughly after every session and ensuring that parents and kids are comfortable. They not just give your kids a gymnastic experience but also make it fun for them. Even if your kid has a hard time following, is distracted they handle it in a very nice way. The best part is that the teachers are more like friends for the kids and play along with them which makes the kid more interested and easy to understand the instructions. Our son can't wait to keep going back! Definitely love this place.

I had left this gym, my family separated itself from this establishment and they did not contact us out of concern. They contacted us as soon as they saw my review. My reviews are honest and detailed. What my son and I experienced was real and awful. Now I am being harassed for sharing the truth about how things were handled. If they were truly concerned with my son Mr. WILL would not have told me that Hendrix was the new kid and kids will be rough. He wouldn't have told me that he would not address the parents because they were a tight knit group. When I told him we were ending our membership he was matter of fact and cold. No one called to check in on how Hendrix was. Now they still haven't done that! They saw my honest review and instead of making amends and apologizing, they insulted me and became defensive. This is the type of business these people run. I truly hope they make positive reform to create a safe space for children and parents to speak up for their children. They could not do that for my family. Beware!

My only complaint is with how large the gym is there is limited seating. In line with that, with how far across the gym it is sometimes it's hard to see. I would love to see a second floor for viewing but I don't see that happening any time soon.
