Gyro was horrible. The meat tasted like it was dropped in sand and the amount of meat was very small (unlike anything I've ever experienced with a Gyro). The bread tastes stale. Nothing about the Gyro is good and I'm not hard to please. My stomach started hurting in the midst of my eating. Avoid this establishment. read more

This place was pretty good. The falafel had some crunchy bits that were a bit rough for me but the flavor was there. It is inside the mall so you do have to deal with mall traffic and parking but if your already inside, this is a good go to. read more

Shopping for wedding gifts at Macy's during our lunch break, a coworker and I stopped by this Great Wraps at Cumberland Mall for what would become my first foray into this national franchise. Great Wraps can be found in 20 states, mostly in mall food courts. The business advertises its wraps as the "new American sandwich," whatever that's supposed to mean. Great Wraps offers over a dozen different wraps with various regional and ethnic influences. Examples include: Philly cheesesteak wrap, chipotle chicken wrap, gyro wrap, Thai chicken wrap, and falafel hummus wrap. I went with the latter and made it a combo, my total coming out to $7 and change. A combo at Great Wraps simply means you get their original "Kurly" fries and a fountain drink with your wrap. One thing that's neat about Great Wraps is their "spice bar" at checkout. The curly fries come out plain -- think Arby's curly fries, but with no seasoning and less crunchy batter. The spice bar has six different seasonings you can add to spice up your fries. Seasonings include "Hellacious Jalapeno" and "Loaded Baked Potato." The wrap itself was pretty good. The ingredients were generic, but fresh. The veggies consisted of chopped Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. These were combined with falafel and hummus. The tortilla shell was grilled. During a peak time (lunch hour), both the ordering and checkout process were a breeze. read more

I absolutely love this place! Not only was the food good, but they were very respectful, funny, and entertaining. You can see them making your food. The workers knew a lot about their product and they were very sure of the food. I would definitely eat here again. Note: if you are an uptight type of person you would not have had the same experience as me. I am very social and enjoyed every bit of the entertainment I received while I waited for my food with my wife. If you are looking for a good gyro this is most definitely the place to get it. I have visited twice, once during the week and again this evening (a Saturday around 8-9 PM). I decided to look at the Yelp reviews and I was very surprised not to see a higher rating. On both visits, my food was prepared exactly to order. Our gyros and feta fries were served hot of the grill and delicious. We like it better than the gyros at our go-to local Greek place. Seriously. The fountain soda was also excellent (which I mention because we all know SOME places can't seem to get it right). I spoke with everyone on hand this evening, genuinely nice people. Again, seriously. Shout out to grillmaster Gary, Anita and James. Y'all are awesome! I recommend the spicy sauce gyro (what ISN'T made better by buffalo sauce?!) And the feta fries. Thanks guys. Sometimes things escalate for the stupidest reasons. Today we went to Cumberland Mall 's food court during a break in my daughter's pageant to get lunch. After getting the kids their food, I went to get something for myself. I decided to get a falafel gyro and went to Gyro Wrap for it. When it was my turn to order, I had a simple request: "I'd like to get a falafel gyro and can I get feta cheese added to it? The guy taking my order said, "No, I don't think you can do that". Then looked at his manager (whose name is Paula) and asked if they can. Keep in mind he mumbled the entire time so it was hard to understand what he was saying. Paula, the manager, came over and started showing him how to type up the order and then walked away. He finished and my $7-8 sandwich went up to almost $15. For cheese. I said, "wait, is that total correct? The price went up that high for feta cheese?" He said, "Yes, you ordered the philly cheese on top of the falafel". As in, a Philly cheese steak on top of a falafel gyro. Which is just weird. I said, "no, I asked for feta cheese". This is where things went left. He caught an attitude, raised his voice, and then said "NO, YOU ORDERED THE FALAFEL WITH PHILLY CHEESE." Up until this moment I was polite. You aren't going to raise your voice at me under any circumstances - especially not over a dumb instance of miscommunication. I answered, "Look, all you had to do was say 'sorry for the mix up' and fix the order instead of getting an attitude with me. Let's go ahead and cancel this order, I'll go someplace else". Then Paula came over and said, "sir, you can get that, let's fix it." At the same time the dude who took my order was speaking over her saying "I DIDN'T GET AN ATTITUDE WITH YOU!" I said, "yes, you did. You aren't going to force me to get something that I don't want. I said I wanted feta, not 'philly', F-E-T-A." At that point, Paula changed her tune and got loud also, "HE DIDN'T GET NO ATTITUDE! YOU ARE THE ONE WITH THE ATTITUDE SIR! SO WE ARE NOT GOING TO SERVE YOU!" And she told the dude to cancel my order. I didn't even turn around and cuss them out, I went ahead and got food somewhere else. Why would I give them my hard earned money? Hell, I'm definitely not going to convince or force someone to take my money. Now the next part is the ultimate reason for my post. I was already going to make calls and lodge complaints with the main business and the mall itself, but now I need to let everyone know not to patronize this business at all. After this incident, I kept it moving, ate, spent time with my family, etc. At one point I got up and walked over to see what stores were just past the food court. I had to walk past Gyro Wrap to do this. As I walked by, I heard the dude I dealt with yelling, "HOW ARE YOU TODAY SIR? WAIT, NOT YOU, NEVER MIND!!" I never even looked his way and wasn't sure he was talking to me until I heard that last part. I still kept it moving JUST in case he really wasn't speaking to me and I heard the other employees laughing. Later, when leaving the mall, I had to walk back by Gyro Wrap again and this time I had my 4 year old son and my mother with me. The dude yelled the same "how are you today..." question at me with the whole "never mind" part again. And the employees, including the manager, Paula, started laughing. I knew at that point that they were heckling me while with my son. I was about to lose my cool when I thought about my son and also the fact that he had no idea what was going on. He was just being a 4 year old walking and holding his daddy's hand. So I didn't want to bring attention to him as to what was going on. If you are in the Atlanta area, do not patronize this business at all. The entire staff that was working at 2:30pm on Friday, July 6 was involved in this. read more

The wings were really good. I love a dry rub lemon pepper and they did not disappoint. I'm a stickler for fresh, hot fries. And that's where I have to take away a star. The fries were room temperature and soft. I went back to ask for fresh fries and they gave me some more and this time they were hot but wimpy, soft. Idk if they just aren't cooking them at the right temperature or what, but I was very disappointed with both sets of fries. My boyfriend got a Philly cheesesteak and he said it was delicious. I do not recommend the gyro. I'm sure there's something better to eat here, but unfortunately I tried the gyro and was completely disappointed. The pita was soggy, and it only came with meat, lettuce, and sauce -- they don't include onions or tomatoes apparently. read more

First and last time I will ever go there. First, I order my food but when I asked a question about a side item that did not look familiar the girl did not know what it was either. After asking her coworker who ignored her she also dropped the question and never answered me. So I asked again, she asked the same coworker who ignored her again and again the question was dropped. I finally got am answer from someone else later. However, at first I wrote this off because the poor girl seemed new and flustered. Let me also add that she asked if I wanted the combo. I said no. There is no problem with her asking but we will come back to this. Second, at the checkout, the guy grilling my wrap asked if I would like it for here or to go. I said to-go, however, then I changed my mind. I told the guy so but he didn't hear me. So I told him again when he was looking my direction, he still apparently didn't hear me. So I told him again right after he asked me if I wanted the combo. He obviously doesn't care what the customer has to say unless he is asking them a direct question because I got ignored, AGAIN. Third, showing my frustration, the manager at checkout assumed my frustration was because the food taking too much time and spoke to me like I was simple and slowly said the other guy had to press and cut my sandwich in a voice that implied I needed more patience. I told him that was not the problem and I had asked the guy three time to change my order from to-go to here. Instead of getting the other guy's attention, he told me there were too many people asking griller guy questions at once for him to answer all of them..... WHAT? There wasn't any body else there! Perhaps people behind the counter were telling him to do things but my input as the customer is just as important. Then the manager asks if I would like the combo... you say there is too much communication going on behind them counter for griller guy to listen to me, THE CUSTOMER, but none of you can communicate the fact that I don't want your combo!!?! That is the third time you asked me. And I already told you no twice! Forth, after swallowing my pride because I really am not the type to cause a scene, I pay for and sit down with my food. Half way through my wrap, I bite into a bone. When I pull it out, it is half the size of my index finger! Final straw, that's it. A BONE IN MY WRAP? You have to be kidding me. It huge, someone had to cut your chicken because, it's diced, why is there a bone in there? A BIG bone. read more
