We get take out from here tonight. My husband had a chicken gyro. He said it was pretty good, but chicken was not as moist or spongy as you expect from quintessential chicken gyro. That said, he did reiterate it was very tasty and good. I had shrimp pita sandwich. It was solid. Shrimp cooked well. It has a ton of lettuce and a tiny amount of tomato. The ratio was way off. I did enjoy it though. We also had the romaine salad which was very well done. The delivery guy was a little odd. The first thing he said when he delivered to us was,"man, this was a far drive". That was kind of annoying since we spent $45 on dinner and tipped him nicely. It was good overall, will try again. May have a better experience dining in. read more

food and service is ok. I ordered take out and ordered two desserts. Baklava and galaktoboureko. They were a bit expensive and absolutely not fresh. The baklava was ok to eat but the galaktoboureko which is all cream tasted funny. Like it was hanging around forever in and out the fridge. We threw it out. The custard tasted spoiled. read more

I'm not sure why this got these great reviews?? We went tonight with the family and were extremely disappointed. We are Greek and have gone to many delicious Greek restaurants. The fried calamari was chewy, the grilled calamari was hard and inedible. My husband got the lamb, which was inedible and he had to send back. My chicken salad was good. The gyro was decent and the lemon potatoes was not good either. No one checked on us but they were apologetic when we told them about food. The owner or manager was there, but she never came over to us. We never complain about restaurants or food because we are in the business, but this was horrible. read more

Edited to add - I appreciate that Steve the owner took the time to respond to my review and that he stated that he has addressed the issues I mentioned. That means a lot so I raised my review to 4 stars and I already have plans to return for dinner with my dad; I can't wait to come eat more of the delicious food! Stopped for lunch with a friend and let our server know we were in a little bit of a hurry and that we would need our appetizer and wraps brought out all at the same time so we could eat and go more quickly. We ordered the dip sampler, 2 greek salad wraps (menu said add chicken for $3.00 which we did not do), and we asked for water We were brought the dip sampler by itself, not with the wraps as we had asked. We started to stress about time, but the pita bread and dips were CRAZY delicious, so that took our mind off it. We were thirsty so we asked again for our water and the waiter said he'd forgotten and would bring it. We were just about finished with the pita bread when our wraps arrived...with chicken in them. I told the server we did not order them with chicken, and he looked confused. I explained that we ordered the Greek Salad wraps, and that the menu stated adding chicken would be an extra $3 which we did not request. He still looked puzzled so I explained that I do not eat chicken. He took the wraps away and apologized. We were more stressed about time and still thirsty. The server returned again to ask which dressing we wanted, and we told him we wanted balsamic, which was also stated on the menu listing for that wrap. The server seemed like he might be new and was either unfamiliar with the menu, or had put in an order for the wrong wrap to begin with. Finally he returned with the correct wraps, but quickly left before we could ask AGAIN for our water. The wraps were also really delicious, but we were only able to eat half due to the time it took to get them. Finally at the end of our meal we told the server we had never gotten water, and he brought it to us. We asked for to-go containers and discussed how great the food was, but how unhappy we were with the service. A woman came over and offered little to-go cups so that we could take the dips home with us. The crazy delicious dips were coming home with us!! We were super happy about that, and decided that because the food was so good and we were able to take the dips and half the wraps home, that overall it was a good experience. Had the food not been so yummy, I would have given a much lower rating. I will definitely come back for the food, I just hope to have better service. read more

Came in for lunch today with two buddies. Got the chicken lemon soup to start which was fresh and bursting with flavor. Followed up with a falafel appetizer and a side of gyro meat. Everything was warm and delicious. While the food was very good I can't say enough good things about our waitress. Her name escapes me but she was cheerful and attentive. We must have asked for 40 things, extra napkins, lemons, refills, etc and the service was absolutely sparking. Thanks for a great lunch. read more

With a name like Gyrolicious one would think that they serve a good gyro. Just had one to go and had to throw it out. Definitely not fresh. The meat was completely dry. I don't believe I ever had a gyro I didn't like until this one. No wonder the place is always empty. read more

Appetizers were delicious-hummus and falafel Dessert yummy baklava My son said the lamp chops were juicy and tasty! Fries were tasty and Greek side salad portion large. Just had a great dinner there with some family. We started with the pita and hummus which was great. Hummus had garlic and incredible olive oil. Pita was fresh and toasted. I got the gyro pita which was classic and enormous. Friend got the lamb kabob and was the some of the best lamb I have ever had. Owner/manager came out and was super friendly too. Got a gyro to go, price was reasonable for what you got size wise, it was early in the afternoon on a weekend when I went and I got my food extremely fast. Staff was extremely friendly. Gyro was nothing great, but by no mean was it bad at all either. I would go back again. read more

Loved them food and the service! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Even if you just came for the fried calamari, you would be making a good choice. It was some of the best I ever tasted. Great Food! This is the first time I have been there in a few years and I have to say the food was just fabulous. We started w the saganaki which was just delicious. The meat in the mixed grill for two was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. More than enough food for 2. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The owner personally came to our table to make sure we were satisfied. I don't live in the area but I will def take the trip and come back. I just wish they would open another on the south shore!!! We have eaten here before and we're satisfied in the past. Appears to be under new ownership. Ordered gyros to go. Also a chicken gyro. Picked them up. One man, owner I think, going from kitchen to tables. Poor the food home to find 3 sloppy messes. Pita were black and burned. Lettuce falling out, gobs of white sauce under all the food instead of on top. I got chicken chunks, dried, instead of chicken gyro.. and gyros were also dry tasted like they were reheated. If it wasn't so late I would have driven back. Will NEVER be back read more
