For the first time visitor to Berlin it's a very nice 3 star hotel to begin your journey in Berlin. All the major sights are within walking distance, and there are a lot of dining options in the neighborhood (hint: Kartoffel Keller down the street has great lunch specials). I got a hotel room in the hof so it was extremely quiet, internet access was also available and the staff are well versed in English. The breakfast was also very good!
