The suits where were altered were done badly and the instructions for each mixed up. When all things were taken back in, they didn't say sorry, they just looked at us like WE were in the wrong. They did take the items back to fix but this itself took over 6 weeks to complete which is totally unacceptable. They are a fraud, better to go so Saville row to the professionals.

The shop keeper likes to chat, and in such a small space if you aren't happy with that you might feel uncomfortable, but I would definitely recommend checking Paul Clark out. It's the perfect shop to waist some time in while your waiting for friends at the station. Now don't expect anything too special, you have your regular department brands like the Arcadia group but you also get Dune shoes, fabulous make up counters, various other smaller designers as well as Helen W's favourite, Jane Norman. Seriously, I can't leave her in her without he coming out with bags full of new outfits. They also have an extensive home department upstairs with rugs, bedding and quirky lamps. As you walk up the stairs to the upper floors they have lists of celebs born in the area and what street they lived on. it's all very cool, very Brixton. It's a lovely shopping experience and if you love high street brands totally worth the visit.

The store manager was very knowledgable about each line, discussing what each brand was known for and why. But, he was never pushy, it was a really pleasant conversation. We didn't buy anything that day, but we will definitely pop by to see what they have the next time we find ourselves in the neighborhood!

They have an extensive selection of shirts, patterns with collar choices & an easy to navigate website. In addition to the shirts what really impressed me was the service. Calls were answered promptly and the agents were knowledgeable and helpful. I made a mistake on size for one of my shirts. No problem as they just made their return/exchange process much easier (& it was). The Classic fit is close to what I'm used to here in the states and I would say ran slightly smaller which was fine with me as at times the shirts from other retailers can be baggy which CT's weren't (without having to go to slim fit). I've found my new go-to for dress and casual shirts and look forward to visiting a store on my next UK trip!

This store is a bit higher end, more professional wear, less of the hipstery cheap stuff. It's extremely well put together, the staff are nice, it's organized and not a total hot mess like other locations (ahem, Oxford Street, all of them), no ques for changing rooms. Open 12-6 Sundays. If you don't have children but your friend has just had a baby then you HAVE to head to Carry Me Home for a cool present. The 'Been Inside For 9 Months' sleepsuits are so gorgeous that I am planning on buying one for a friend who is due any day now. The fruit shaped bibs make meal times a little less messier and are so stylish! If you cannot get to the West End store the owner also has a stall at Spitalfields market on a Sunday. The website is excellent but a little dangerous to my bank account because I always see something I want to get for my son or friends' babies! I wanted a unique gift that had some character and I felt like the store owner had a bunch of options that fit the bill. The owner (don't recall her name) was very helpful, not pushy, and pleasant. Also, I don't know what baby clothes are supposed to cost but I thought the prices were quite reasonable for the quality.
