They send bills with no explanation of what your being billed for. They have no organization whats so ever and you are chasing them for answers on taxes. They refuse to give estimates on the cost of your taxes so they can over charge you by thousands. Adam didn't even let us review our taxes before submitting the three that he completed not to mention I had to reach out to Adam to file extensions. Adam would take meetings while driving in his car and not take the time to go over taxes professionally. Adam's assistants had no idea about what taxes needed to be done and what business. I had to constantly repeat me self and send the Same document multiple times. We eventually fired Honkamp and Adam but I would avoid them. Horrible experience! I even reached to the another owner of Honkamp and she has yet to return my call and when asked for her email the front office girls said they give them out. Sounds like they get many complaints....

Please, Do not use this business for any reason! They do not care if they file your taxes, they do not care if they have direct knowledge of embezzlement in your company-they won't report it to the owners of your business or even the police. To say they could care less about anything but spreading rumors, that are negative about your business to as many people as possible, that they should get 5 stars in that. Even if you hire them to do your taxes they don't care if they file them on time or EVER. Instead, they will charge you to have your taxes done, yet not send them into the IRS. This accounting company was once run by a different Jim Kircher. That Jim Kircher was outstanding and believed in actually working. But not his son-this Jim Kircher. I've never heard an adult say it's not his responsbiity to do anything correctly for people that hire this firm. Add to that the disgusting ways the front office handles people when you walk in for help. There is a woman by the name of Janice who usually is up front. She even admitted she thought he stole around $50,000 too. When my mother went in to talk to Janice's boss-Jim Kircher after I told my mother what I learned. JI'm didn't care at all. Instead it was better to tell my mothers employees and others that bills couldn't be paid, stealing was happening, embezzlement right under her nose and even more was going on behind my 84 year old mothers back. Seriously, just because Janice wanted 100% access to ALL my mothers bank accounts and my mother refused. So instead she lied and didn't remotely try and protect her business that had been a client for the Kirchers for DECADES! When my mother finally decided to pull all her business and told Jim Kircher why. He tried to tell me he didn't know. I knew for a fact he did. Plus this accounting office even charged my mother for both personal and business taxes that they didn't file to the IRS for more then 2 years. Not only didn't they file her taxes, but they didn't file even an extension. When you tried to find out why any if this happened this Accounting office did nothing but say it wasn't their fault. Jim Kutcher had the excuse that his computer was never working correctly, or his computer was down. I guess he felt that was much better then any other excuse. He even used those same excuses last year 2 weeks prior to Tax day. Even when we complained to him what Janice was doing he actually said, "That's not my fault if I don't know what's going on up front. Seriously! It's his business and his excuse for what awful things his employees were doing was to say he works in the back. He didn't even apologize for the lies she told. My mother had the money. But she wasn't going to let anyone in this office 100% access to withdrawal money from her bank accounts. She was 84, but not stupid. How can any company owner not care what his employees are doing? Or how about when we pulled our accounts from Jim Kircher AFTER he was bought out by BAC-this accounting office did give us the records associated with my mothers personal accounts and business accounts. But this truly unethical business also gave me my Grandparents records too. First off, there isn't a single reason for doing this. I didn't ask for their private information, nor did I need it. That information was not associated with my mothers business nor private records. It made me wonder who else they gave the wrong tax records out to, which included Social security numbers and more. There isn't a single excuse for what this business tried to do other then they wanted to destroy my mothers business because she was old. I honestly could go on and on about this but please understand that I'm writing this review to help YOU save your own business or personal standing with the IRS. Plus to prevent anyone who works for you to get away with stealing from you because your accounting office knew about it and didn't do ANYTHING! I should also say that when I advised Jim Kircher that he should check out my review on Yelp. He threatened me and my mothe. He started swearing foul words at both myself and mother too. Just the cherry on top of how this business treated Please note, at no time did they think they did anything wrong. I can't imagine the penalties that will have to be paid to the IRS because of using Jim Kircher and BAC accounting.
