This is all because of my consultant, Thomas. I dropped my documents off the morning of my appointment and when I showed up he was ready for me. He truly took his time and went through each line and document of my return. Unlike other years where I feel like I've blindly been asked to sign my name on the dotted line, he made sure I understood each section. It's clear he really cares about the service he provides and he answered all of my questions thoughtfully and patiently. I have enormous confidence in my return this year, thanks to him. It's an expensive service, but one I would gladly pay again for the peace of mind.

We had an early morning appointment and yet still had to wait close to 20 minutes to be seen. No apology for tardiness. We have taxes that are maybe more complicated than most, but not out of the pale for what can be expected for clients in New Haven and the employee helping us seemed lost and explained that we would have to come back next week due to the complexity. We were also told that it was "not legal" for a married couple to file separately. Given the incorrect advice, and poor customer service, we decided to take our tax business elsewhere.
