When working with Jeff expect good quality -- if Jeff has a clear sense up front of what's required and the flexibility to complete it when he is able to slot it into his schedule. In our experience you can also expect to follow up in order to stay on his radar. In our experience we lacked clear due dates, what (if any) additional documentation he needs from us, how many hours he expects to work, expected fees, what kind of notification he provides if fees exceed estimates, and when fees are due. While good quality, I'd also advise you to check your returns carefully every year, comparing what was filed to prior years.

I presented my issue to him with full candor, and he duly assessed my situation without personal bias. Long story short, he told me not to worry about the situation; (don't want to get into the personal details.) But the truth is, Mark could have easily took advantage of my fears and request some sort of retainer just to fill his pockets, and make me feel protected. But he didn't! Mark is a stand-up guy. He took the time to professionally assess my situation, conjure up a plethora of alternative possibilities, and gave me a clear understanding of where I stood legally. And he did this for free. Honestky, I took up 30 minutes of Mark's morning and even offered to pay a fee, he turned it down, gave me his card and told me to contact him (day/night) if my situation escalated to any extent. In that time they hit me with $7 more of interest therefore requiring THAT to be covered also now. So they hit you with extra interest until they decide to process the payment. When inquiring about it I was told that's standard operating procedure. I tried to pay off the $7 but they wanted $9 more to take payment over the phone. Don't use these guys. They're a scam

But, today we stoped into see about a personal loan. We were helped by Matt. Banking/loan application is far from one of my favorite things to do. But, Matt made the process a pleasure. He was extremely pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and proficient. He clearly explained the process, info and numbers. Matt and Service Credit Union deserve the shout out! It dawned on me that after 10+ years as members, we have always had great service from them. In person, on line or over the phone. You can't beat their low fees either!
