This was my fourth year going to this firm and I never had any problems with them until this year…read more I came in to sign my return and make payment for the service. The receptionist gave us the forms we needed to sign and showed us where to sign. We did so and payed for the service and departed. About a month later, we stopped by the office to see if they knew why our return had still not been deposited and we were told that we can check the status on the IRS website. That weekend when we did , we realized that the deposit had already been made but to an unknown account. I returned back to Dimits office and was assisted by a gentleman who presented us with a document for which my wife and I had signed and told us, here is the account that you confirmed you wanted your return deposited into. I said that was my signature but, that not my account. He told me that it was me and my wife's responsibility to review the information and that there was nothing he could do. I asked, where he got that bank information from and who was the person who completed this document and he would not tell me. I told him that nobody informed us to verify any information and to only sign the documents. He informed me that they ask customers to give new bank information every year because a person may change their bank. The problem is nobody asked for any updated bank information and the document already had bank information on it for which my wife and I assumed was ours. Bottom line, they told my wife and I there was nothing they could do and advised us to go to the bank our refund was sent to and speak with them. They left us to resolve the problem all on our own and never offered any assistance. They knew I was going to pay my property tax with this refund that was just coming due and they just abandoned us. I will never go to another tax preparer after this experience. I will prepare my own taxes from now on.

I would give this business negative stars if I could. They had my taxes so messed up I was going to…read morehave to pay a few grand to the government. I ended up paying another firm to redo my taxes. They were done right this time and actually got me a refund, on the same exact year that Perrys caused me to have to pay. Then when I refused to pay Perry's for the jacked up tax return they took me to court! I wouldn't let them help a kindergartner with math!!!
