I had planned on going in here and asking questions about how I should go about doing my taxes next year because I got a new job where I travel and use my own vehicle and a couple other things like that but when I got there at my appointment time Carmen was still with somebody so I had to wait which I don't understand why set appointment times if it's gonna be later than the actual appointment just call me and tell me that my appointment is gonna be pushed back or that you're gonna be late so since she was late, I had other things to do afterwards so I didn't end up asking any of my questions or getting any answers to anything Only that, but she kept trying to put my health insurance down as my employer when it's not through my employer, among other things just seemed a little sketchy. Then she double charged me for the visit. I showed her that it took the money out of both accounts and she said well whenever their system tells her they'll reimburse me couldn't tell me how long that would be your win just that I paid twice And oh well oops so instead of $89 is $180 and I have no idea what I'm getting that money back so I wouldn't recommend this place also apparently this senior tax analyst here which means that if she is this incompetent then who knows how bad the regular tax analyst are hereI would recommend doing your own taxes online or YouTubing the questions you have instead of coming here to ask them read more

We had a wonderful experience at the Sawdust location in The Woodlands. We were greeted by the nice lady at the front desk and did not have to wait long to see our advisor, Ms. Yalanda Charles (CPA). Ms. Yalanda was very friendly, patient, experienced and helpful. She happily took the time to assist us in setting up our H&R Block account online and with the uploading of all of our documents, very clearly explained the process, thoroughly reviewed all of our documents and ran different scenarios to yield the maximum return for us, answered all of our questions and was available for follow up after our visit. First time trying H&R Block and it couldn't have been a worse experience. Had a 1pm appointment, arrived there at 1:02 and sat there for 20 minutes. The receptionist came up to me at 1:24 and said the gentleman I had an appointment with isn't there and the Manager doesn't know where he is. I took my lunch break to drive there and wait 25 minutes only to receive a quick apology and to reschedule at 3pm. Waited 25 minutes after appointment time so I left. When I arrived early to my appointment someone came out and asked why I was there. I had made an appointment a week in advance but they had no idea I was coming. I could hear other people working in their cubicles but no one helped me. The lady that greeted me was with a man going over his extensive tax history so I left. Will not go back to this location. The people at the 1960 location are nicer and helpful. read more
