An attorney employed at Marathon Oil Company knew Mr. Whitman personally and told Mr. Whitman that his standard POA did not include the correct wording. Mr. Whitman's colleague repeatedly instructed Mr. Whitman to revise his standard POA to no avail. Mr. Whitman's lackadaisical work ethics, incompetence and negligence was the catalyst for other unscrupulous individuals to swindle away my mother's rights and disregard her final wishes.
