It was out of warranty both timing and mileage. We were given a quote and carried it back up there to have the transmission replaced. When the truck was ready, we received a call from them saying he had good news. The truck was not only ready but while replacing the transmission, they noticed that some of the parts used in the first replacement were defective and what had been installed should have lasted longer. The actual bill was 1/3 of what was quoted. They didn't have to tell us about the defective parts and not every company would have completed the exchange for a third of the price. This company is honest and reliable, and I would highly recommend them if you are in need.
