Called to make a reservation as stated on the website for parties of 6 or more. Was told to just join the waitlist. Inefficient use of peoples time. Why have us call if all we have to do is just join the waitlist. Why even put it on the website? We picked a good time to stop by (Wednesday, brunch time) as parking was available in the designated lot. A cute weekend brunch spot. They use QR codes to order and pay which makes for a convenient checkout process. Even allowing your group divide the bill by order or pay as a group. All the staff were super accommodating as we brought a dog with us and tried to have our party seated as soon as they could . There is both indoor and outdoor seating to which they allow dogs outdoors. Our group of 4 got seated within 10 minutes. Everything came out in a timely manner which was great as we were hungry. We went with one sweet and one savory. The strawberry stuffed French toast was a hit it wasn't overly sweet and didn't feel too decadent and rich. I came here during Labor Day weekend for brunch with my friend. It's a smaller restaurant so expect a bit of a wait but you can use the Yelp waitlist to shorten your wait time. I'm not sure if they're newly really popular because the hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed. It was drizzling this day and we were first seated outside but requested to be moved inside for obvious reasons. Service was fine. Our waiter was attentive but obviously busy with other customers. For food, I got the eggs Benedict with bacon and avocado. It was good but nothing spectacular. My friend got the French toast and liked it. The mimosa flights were delicious and i liked that we got our own champagne bottles. All in all, a nice restaurant but just needs to work on dealing with really busy days. read more

I visited this spot on Friday as a birthday lunch. It is on a main Street, so parking can be tough, but they do have a small parking lot designated for the hotel. It's not a large restaurant and at 11am on a Friday, it was busy. I was a party of one, so I didn't have a long wait. They have indoor & outdoor seating. Although it's on a main Street, they do have a plant wall barrier on one side, along with the plastic wall barrier. I sat by the plant wall barrier and had to deal with flies for a bit. I wasn't sure if it's because I was by the plants or the other side was like that too. I was a big concerns about the service I would receive outside, but they have it set up so you can order from your phone. I loved this! You were able to see a picture of the food and while ordering, could check if you wanted any add ons. Even with this, service was still really good, as server came outside to check on me plenty of times. After ordering, my drink quickly came out, followed by my food order. Everything was 10/10. I'm not even a big red chilaquiles fan (verde all day) but the flavors were really good. Definitely would recommend this spot for a solo brunch or small group. read more

Something really special about this cafe is their focus on quality ingredients from the high quality organic eggs to their homemade buttermilk chicken. It gets very loud in there because there's nothing to dampen sound, so if you're sensory sensitive it's maybe not the place to go. I'm not sure the servers enjoy working there-- it's a bit draining to be on the receiving end of that energy-- but it's a hard job so it's important to tip well anyway! I went to H Cafe for a group brunch on a Wednesday at 10:30am. We had a nice corner table for the 6 of us to sit at surrounded by bright windows - a nice contrast to the darker atmosphere in the restaurant. The atmosphere overall was alright; because it was in a hotel (something I didn't realize ahead of time) getting into the restaurant was a little confusing. The music was way too loud for a dining setting. Since the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, we asked them to turn it down a bit which they didn't. It was so loud that it was hard to hear the people around me. The food itself was pretty good and had nice plating. My group especially appreciated the French toast sampler and getting to try 3 types of French toast. I had the avocado toast which was tasty, but only had 1 egg on top of a full piece of bread. My friends who got the Eggs Benedict were disappointed to discover that it did not have any heirloom tomatoes on it but instead had an alternative tomato type. The last thing I'll say is that they recently switched over to a new ordering system with QR codes on the tables and ordering from your phone. They're still figuring this part out and while we had a waiter taking our order, we still had to use the QR code to view the menu. Not ideal, but fine. read more

1.5 is the actual rating I'd give. I was really excited to try this place since I'd heard a lot about it and saw TikToks about it however it was actually pretty disappointing unfortunately. We got seated immediately on a weekend for brunch which was awesome since we beat the crowd somehow. The service itself was fine, you actually order from your phone which was cool however the problem I had with this place was the food. If you go to a restaurant, service being bad can sometimes be overlooked but if the foods bad it's a no for me. I can't fully remember what we ordered but the memory that did last was that I didn't like the food. I'm pretty sure I got some nachos with tots that wasn't impressive since it was overly drenched in sour cream and flavorless guac with some spiciness. Also ordered a sandwich of some kind but again no flavors stood out so the best way to describe it was "mid". My boyfriend ordered something called the "award winning chicken sandwich" and I'm not sure the title is appropriate for what we ate. All in all, it felt like we ate food from a small diner in the middle of nowhere where the food gets the job done and takes the hunger away but it's not something you're wishing you had more of. I don't want to leave the review in such a negative tone because I did enjoy the mimosa flight--I think I got orange, raspberry, and strawberry or some assortment of fruit that was really good. The cafe is located in the hotel of the same brand, and it has a parking on the side of it! When we walked in, the restaurant setting was beautiful with the black furniture and plants. Unfortunately, that is as far as the pros go for me. You'll order and pay off the QR code that is at the table. The prices are on the higher end. We ordered the loaded tater tots, the burritos and the chicken and waffles. For the tater tots, the guacamole on top was great. It is on the more acidic side which I like, but I know some would not enjoy. They were too greasy in my opinion, and the cheese was a bit off. The burrito's gravy wasn't that good, and the filling was very off in my opinion. I also think the hot sauce did not go well with it. Overall, I definitely wouldn't stop by again. For the chicken and waffles, the chicken was dark meat since it costs a $1 more for white meat. It was okay, but it's definitely not the best fried chicken. The waffle was delicious, but they gave us such a small amount of syrup. We waited for 15 minutes waving at different servers for them to see us. They did stop at other tables to check in on them, but we did not get that haha. Finally, we were able to get more syrup, but the waffle was cold by then. read more

Everything was delicious, but the Chicken Sandwich was a standout - absolutely amazing! The French Toast Sampler was also a highlight. The Eggs Benedict had soft bread and the salmon had a great texture. H Cafe offers both indoor seating and a patio. On nice days, sitting outside is lovely, but be aware that some ash-like dust can settle on you, so if you're sensitive to that, opt for the indoor seating. One thing to note is that the food can take a while to arrive, so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry. Overall, H Cafe is a fantastic spot for brunch with great food and a nice atmosphere. They have cocktails and mimosas by the glass/flights for a full brunch experience, but we opted for a bottle of champagne juice included. It was not savory like how bits of sausage would add moments of saltiness. Completely missing. It came with a salad that you can get a grocery store for a few dollars wit no memorable dressing. Breakfast burrito (18.50) seemed promising, but also extremely dry. Again, topped with this flat gravy sauce that somehow managed to dry it out. All of the protein inside lacked seasoning. My partner had to order a hot chicken sandwich for dinner to make up for this. Tater Tachos Supreme (14.50) was fine. For the price it could have been a lot bigger.
