This is a pretty standard H Mart with lots of Korean products, which are so unique! It's very clean! Parking was pretty busy but we found parking easily. Service was very friendly and courteous.

This is one of the nicer H Marts I've been to! Really clean, big space, this location has everything you could want from produce to packaged foods, to fresh foods for a meal/snack. Skip the other Alton location closer to DJ and come to this spot is my recommendation for sure

This store is on my way home for me to pick groceries. The store Ahmad a good selection of Asian ingredients. The staff is always restocking the store and keeping the store clean. A few sample stations are also available, I got to try some Korean pear and kalbi.

Love browsing through H Mart. It is always clean, nicely organized, and you will find the most tempting snacks ever. They are a bit on the pricey side, but there are couple items I need to get routinely there. Ramen, kimchi, minced garlic, rice, and whatever else catches the eye during my visit. I especially love their produce, meat, and seafood items. Meat is a bit pricey, but quality is good. You will never guess how many ramen varieties there are until you visit a Korean market. They also have many delicious drinks there. I always end up getting boba or teas for my daughter. Other than grocery items, they have pre-made foods ready to eat. Also, very random, but I love getting dishwashing sponges there. Parking can sometimes get busy, but if you go first thing in the morning, it is pretty much empty. Great place to do monthly Korean grocery.

This is our favorite store for everything from seafood to household products. We love to try new items that are not common in our regular grocery stores. There's an amazing bakery as well as a small food court. Great service and affordable prices.

One of the bigger h marts around, this one has a bigger feel to it compared to other hmarts like the one in Chino hills. Ambiance wise, it's pretty clean and well lighted. The place has tons of parking. In terms of food, there's a lot of cooked items, instant items/ prepped items/ ready to cook items.... Service is pretty straight forward. Nothing special. Dont forget to get their member card so that you get some discounts. Ultimately, pretty good quality but a bit pricey. They also have a pretty good food court.

This is probably one of the prettiest and biggest H Mart I've gone to in So Cal.. It has a big food court with a good handful of awesome eateries and a Tous de Jour bakery. . There's lots of fresh produce, seafood, meat and packaged items. Price point is good, IF you signed up to be a member. So I recommend you signing up for their rewards program to get better pricing .

H Mart has a nice selection of hot ready to eat meals. I usually get the japchae, which you can get a box for lunch for under $7. I've also had other items like the galbi with rice, dumplings, meat buns, and eggs. Everything has been affordable and delicious. The bag of corn was a bit bland; definitely needs some butter and spices added. I also got a bag of the roasted sweet potato. It wasn't what I had expected. I thought it was one big one but the potatoes are actually rather small like the size of chicken nuggets but they make a good snack. There is also a good selection of drinks and Korean snacks, mainly corn based. Parking can be a pain sometimes because it's in a lot that connects to other restaurants and shops. Other than that, I recommend H Mart for some unique and convenient eating and drinking.

Likes: + I mostly enjoy the food court inside the H Mart. Cultural variety of food to enjoy with friends or during work breaks. Plenty of seating surrounded by a clean interior decor. I also like that all the food shops within this food court use a loud and clear PA system to efficiently notify waiting clientele their order is ready. + Polite, friendly, helpful staff. + Ample parking w/various entry/exit points. + I also like that Sprouts is within walking distance from here.

Watch out for the overcharged items. They charged white peach that I didn't bought

Silver mushroom-head lady at cashier 9 -- we locked eyes, she saw the trolley of doom rolling her way... and poof, she vanished. Cashier light still on -- meaning she's not done with her job -- yet there she goes, "busy" caressing untouched Art Box products like they're priceless antiques. The "Art Box" aisle is filled with cute stuff, sure, but no one needed her help there -- because no one was even around. Pure performance art at its finest. Then, when we pushed our heavy trolley to another cashier, she magically reappeared at her station -- right back at her cashier machine like nothing ever happened. She took a dramatic sip of water, and sighed like she just ran a marathon. Same lady who puts stickers on every single thing we buy, always wearing that "don't talk to me" face. Honestly, if you hate your job that much, why make everyone else pay for your attitude?

Huge market with a large produce section, fresh seafood, and items from Korea, China, and Japan. I came for the glass noodles, but there were so many other products that I want to try! And if you're a fan of kimchi, there's a whole wall full of small containers, medium ones, and tubs! If you want some interesting drinks, desserts and fruits, both fresh and dried, this is the place!

Just be sure to keep your purse, and wallet close to you. Also I normally get the nice young Asian cashier, since I first started shopping there in March. He's very nice and he started to recognized me as I shopped there once a week. Except for today, I got a different cashier. She was very nice and I thanked her opening up the register. It was very crowded due to the upcoming Fourth of July Holiday. Everyone was shopping at the same time. The guy behind me thought it was odd for everyone to show up at the same time around 4 pm. I guess everyone took the day off, or a half day? Also I feel safe in this store. I have a disability and it was easy for me to go around the aisles. There are a few downers though. Picking out fruits and veggies can be a hit, or miss with me. Be sure to check the due dates. It's hard to find fresh strawberries Most of them go bad within a few days in the fridge, and I eat them almost every day. I wouldn't recommend buying the mixed fruit. Mine went bad very quickly and unfortunately had to throw it away. Although I do like their frozen food selections, and finding some meat that were on sale like the ground chicken breast for 5 bucks! You can't beat that. I'll continue to shopping there.

The prices are definitely higher than many other markets, but the quality has always been pretty solid. One of the main reasons I come here is for the Korean beef short ribs. Every time I've bought them, they've been fresh and looked great. The only downside for me is the parking lot. Finding a spot can be a challenge depending on the time of day. Other than that, most of the products here, from frozen foods to kimchi and other groceries, have been consistently fresh. The store is clean, well organized, and doesn't have that strong market smell that some grocery stores can have. Everything is laid out in a way that's easy to find, which makes shopping a little more convenient. The staff isn't especially friendly, but they do their job and I've never had any issues.

Although Buena Park and Arcadia can get a bit tight for parking, it's never that much of a PvP zone where literally the entire zip code is in one place. It's also not the biggest H Mart that I've been to either. It's not a Super H Mart like some other locations. They do have a small food court off to the side, but seating is limited. The food court has Maison de Croissant (yummy croffles and other baked goods), Pizza Chicken Love Letter (at least the last time I checked), and I think at least one more. Like the other locations they have packed deli food and other bento box type foods that get discounted later on. Very busy and very crowded and since it's smaller, a bit more limited. Does what it has to, but definitely better locations out there.

The grocery is good for what to expect for any Asian market but the main attraction is the food court. It may not seem like much but all of them are really good and would fill up your hunger instantly. My favorites from the top of my head are the Katsu Don if I remember correctly and the Udon section where you pick your tempura (don't know the exact name). Overall good place to eat lunch or even dinner. Another problem would be finding a seat since there's hardly any tables and your plate is pretty big and bowls are heavy so you have to be somewhat quick to find a seat. The ambiance is fine but that's kind of to be expect in any supermarket, which is usually crowds talking and all. I really don't have much to say. Ever since this place closed down the anime shop, the DVD store, and bookstore, this place pretty much lost what made Mitsuwa special and worth visiting. Especially for someone who's into both anime and tokusatsu like Super Sentai (Japanese Power Rangers). Those places are what got me my first Gundam model kit (Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed) and my go to place for Japanese DVDs as mentioned (Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, and Nanoha). I understand why they close down these stores, especially with streaming services and online shopping are a thing, even though I don't fully agree as they are customers like me that would prefer in-store physical copies. That is why I deduct one star. These are replaces with a gachapon store, a Matcha store, a Boba store I believe and Daiso. The matcha and boba place (forgot the names sorry) are surprisingly good. I really like the matcha ice cream in a bowl and I believe the Doncha. The gachapon I cannot say as I never spend money there and I'm not into these gacha machines and I rarely buy anything in Daiso as its just your typical convenience store that sells some Japanese stuff so I won't say much. In conclusion, it's a very nice spot to eat Japanese meals and especially something to fill you up for the day while also shopping to buy Japanese food to cook at home. Just be aware this is pretty pricey, especially the Royce matcha chocolates and the food court.
