This supermarket is about the third the size of a U.S. supermarket but they had an excellent chocolates section, fresh meat, terrific looking produce and they save me with ready-made salads. The cashiers and employees were extremely helpful and if you were not able to make it to the confectionery store this lace will do in a pinch. If you want to, perhaps bring salami, salad and a bottle of Pellegrino (very cheap) to your room "just in case" (as I am prone to do) this is the place.

My last visit was in 2011, and I've missed the chocolate for the past 15 years. As such, I was pleased when a recent flight to Bosnia had a prolonged layover in Zurich. As luck would have it, this massive Migros is built into Zurich's airport. I was able to easily pop in to grab some souvenirs and four big ole bars of chocolate. Thrilled is an understatement. I ate one of the bars on my trip and brought the other three back to the States. I know I can't nurse them for toooo too long as they'll start to discolor, but I'm so excited to have some for the time being!

Later I discovered that it opened in the last few years within the airport, around 2015/2016. P & B Press and Books does a great job in having best sellers book wall, popular reading materials, few classics etc. In addition, they have a significant amount of magazines/ newspapers etc. They have some other small things for entertainment, cards and souvenirs as well if you need last minute things. I hate boarding with a ton of things in hand so this was a good opportunity to buy some reading material in the last part of my connecting flight. The prices were norm for an airport store. It's located in Dock E inside the airport.

On our recent transit through the Zurich airport we stumbled upon this awesome bookstore. I really didn't know of any P&B stores from before so this was a refreshing experience specially as the only bookstore we have in the states is Barnes and Nobles. Being in an airport might be a challenging business but we noticed that it was pretty busy as travelers were browsing through books as they waited for their flights. 5 stars just for being a bookstore. Hopefully they continue to prosper in an increasingly digital world.
