Excellent dining experience. We had dinner here on 7/1. Although vegetarian options are limited, the vegetarian platter is very good. It includes fatoush salad, hummus, pita bread, falafel & dolmathes. My wife had salmon with kebsa rice. We also had their very tasty lentil soup. Everything was very nicely seasoned. Our server who is the daughter of the owner was excellent. Courteous, accurate & checked back frequently. We highly recommend this place. read more

Wow, the best Mediterranean food I've had in a long time. We ordered the appetizer sampler, hummus and lamb gyros. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Even the iced was excellent. i always sweeten my tea but this was so good I didnt. One of the sides we ordered was french fries. I know not your typical Mediterranean dish but i tell you these fries were so perfectly cooked and tasted so amazing we all shared them. We finished the dinner off with baklava. Again wow. Erie has a gem with Habibi. If you never had Mediterranean cuisine you will not go wrong here. read more

Wow, what's to say. First off, habibi is my favorite word in any language. Second, the food is fine. I don't make falafel, but I could. I make everything else on the menu and I don't care. Our family came out on a cold snowy night. The place was packed but service was fast, with a very attentive waitress and owner. All food is great: fresh and perfectly seasoned. Husband and I love the lentil soup, salad, and pita shawarma. Too bad we gave up sweets for Lent because the desserts looked awesome. We rarely eat out because of a current strict budget. The chicken in my Chicken Shawarma was tough. Service was poor: although I was the only customer in the restaurant for most of my meal (9pm on a Monday evening), the waiter appeared only twice: once to take my order and once to deliver the food. When I wanted to place a second order or pay the bill, waiting 5 minutes wasn't enough; I had to get up, walk around the corner, and poke my head into the kitchen to get the attention of the waiter. This is one of our most favorite places to go for dinner. The food is consistent, flavorful, and presentation is always beautiful. The décor of the restaurant is fresh and it is always very clean. The portions are generous, it is a great place to take a few friends and share appetizers and platters family style -- also they are BYOB! My favorite meal is the Sweetheart Platter with 3 different kabobs (steak, chicken, and kafta), rice, and a fattoush salad -- it is a great sampling of what they offer! dorma were full flavored - tabbouleh was flavorful and big as an app. parsley was rough chopped not minced like i often get - i prefer it roughly chopped. a few more tomatoes would have been nice. and we had to ask for flatbread. good portions for all dishes. lamb kabob was slightly more done than ordered but was very tasty. There is a parking area for the restaurant and the other businesses in the plaza, so it wasn't hard at all to find parking despite being downtown. We didn't have any wait to be seated. Service was quick and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. For appetizers, we had the Tabbouleh and the Habibi sampler (Cheese Fatayer, Falafel, and Kibbeh). My friend had the Kafta Kibab Pita with the lentil soup and I had the Shish Kabob Pita with the house salad. Everything was delicious. The falafel had a very nice flavor, not at all bland like some of the places I've tried. The tabbouleh was delicious. The shish kabob was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. I'm in love with the house dressing, which was a kind of lemon vinaigrette. My friend really liked the lentil soup as well. Prices were reasonable. After hearing good raves from some employees over at UPMC Hamot I stopped in today for first time and placed Take Out order. I ordered one of each, hummus, tabouli, baba ganoush, kibbie Stuffed grape leaves, falafel, lentil soup and chicken kebab with rice. It was very delicious.
