The Habit is generally a solid place to get burger. We generally get the charburger with cheese, but we opted for alternative options. We got the grilled chicken burger with cheese, veggie burger with cheese, and green bean fries. For both burgers, the cheese wasn't melted, and it was as if it was taken straight from the fridge, so the texture was a bit lacking. The grilled chicken burger was alright, not particularly dry, but not as good as a regular charburger. The veggie burger was also just alright, and it included thick slices of cucumbers along with the usual toppings such as tomato and lettuce. The green bean fries were a hit as always--fried perfectly. The restaurant was clean. The interesting thing about this restaurant is that they have a universal restroom, as well as a women's restroom. Why not convert both restrooms into universal ones? We ordered at the kiosk, so I don't really know how service is like. The parking lot has plenty of spaces, but it seems to be a busy area. read more

I ordered the Box Set Special with the chicken wrap and a side salad instead of fries. The chicken wrap was good, and the salad tasted fresh. I ordered online and picked it up. When I arrived, the employee handed me the box without a bag. I asked for a bag, and she didn't seem very happy about it. I'm not sure if to-go orders are normally given in a bag, so maybe I misunderstood. Overall, the food was good and fresh. The only area that could be improved is the customer service. I thought I'd stop in to the Stockton location since I was in the area. They were running a promo for half a chicken sandwich, tempura green beans and a soda for under $10. I placed the order on their app and came in on time to pick up and eat it there. I arrived shortly after 4pm. There was no one seated inside. There were two staff members hanging out in the kitchen area and one guy filling out a report looking down at the counter. I was not noticed by those in the kitchen when waiting at the counter. I finally asked the guy at the counter for my order. He handed me the bag sitting by him. I then proceeded over to the beverage area. Both dispensers for drinks were empty! I really like their strawberry limeade here. I don't like sodas or iced tea. When I asked the manager on duty (guy doing the report) when they would fill up the limeade dispenser, he stated that he didn't order enough supply of it and would not fill it up until the next day. What? I've never heard of any place doing that! It's not the customer's fault that you did not place enough of an order. I then told him that and insisted he make some now since it was not my problem. He went to the back and came out within 5 min with a dispenser of limeade made. Was that so hard? He handed me a cup at the table. The sandwich and tempura beans were good. They were also out of all the peppers, pickles and garnish by the ketchup/mustard station. Meanwhile, the workers in the back kept walking around not noticing anything needing to be replenished. I will avoid this location. The Lodi location has their act together compared to this one. Normally I would give the Habit a 5 star review. I love the food, I love the offers and I love the selection. Recently however, I have noticed a decline in the service. You have to use the app or the terminals when you get there. And if you need help with anything you might as well leave. The last time I went in, I turned around and walked out when no one was willing to acknowledge me or help me. I really love this Habit location! I rarely ever experience such good service from fast food places but this place is hands down top tier, 10/10 for customer service! Inside is also really nice, the food is really good, they're a little bit on the pricier side but I think everywhere is with inflation going on right now. I've been coming here for a minute now and the staff is very friendly and hospitable! They never make a huge deal if they mess up on your order and are willing to accommodate customers if there is some sort of mixup with your order being wrong or if they forgot an item. The manager seems to be running this place really well and is very welcoming and friendly to customers. However, the reason I didn't give the location five stars is because I unfortunately found a 7inch straight long black HAIR in my burger as I took a couple of bites of my burger! I almost vomited after seeing that stringy long hair come out of my burger after taking a bite into it! You can see that I even left the hair on the wrapper for you to see. I really wanted to like this place and I still would love to come back to this location but I recommend that women or even men with long hair (including beards) should wear hairnets so things like this won't happen again because it's very unsanitary, unhygienic, disgusting, and can make customers like myself rethink about being a returning customer because no one wants someone's hair lurking in their burger. read more

Ate in for dinner on a Saturday evening and super impressed by how far they've come. During the early days of the campaign pandemic they really struggled. The restaurant was not clean and the quality of the food really went down. Yesterdays experience was amazing. The tables were clean, I felt comfortable eating in and the food came out hot and fresh. The only issue was that someone had spilled a milkshake near the outside entrance and during the hour we were there no one cleaned it up. So glad that the food quality has improved! Went here with my friends and we dined in. Service was quick, we ordered sweet potato fries, onion rings, French fries, the 5 piece chicken bites, a chicken club, and an original charburger. The French fry texture was crunchy & delicious, without being too crunchy. The onion rings were fried to a crisp- very yummy, even for me (I'm not a big fan of onion rings). The chicken bites were very tender, I tried one piece of my friend's & had to hold back from ordering it myself! The chicken club was my order, it was really delicious but I saved one half for later. Fortunately, it held up in terms of taste even the next day! The avocado, tomato, and lettuce were very fresh. The grilled chicken was very juicy, my only dislike was the bread- I would've preferred to be able to choose my type of bread (I prefer whole wheat) or less fried in butter- the oil was palpable when I bit into the sandwich. This salad use to be to die for and last week it still was. This week whole other story. Server said " they changed the packaging". I've been to this location a few times over the last year. This time had the chance to dine indoors. Didn't have to wait long to place our order. Young man working the register was nice. Luckily got here when we did as it became crowded very soon after. Location was kept clean. The only thing that we had to get assistance with, was letting them know that the ice machine was out of ice and their lids for small cups were also out. Bathrooms were clean which I feel is one of the most important experiences of eating out inside of a restaurant. We also saw an associate with her sanitation cart, walking around cleaning the areas as customers left. It should be less than 6 minutes job busy or not, no for this young adult, she was showing off her tattoos to other customers, non stop chit chat with them, I stood there for 15 minutes plus and she finally notice II'm looking impatient, the whole time all I saw was 2 cups with base ingredients already put in and waiting glacier to passing by for her to pull ice-cream in. When she does it, it was so quick there was barely any ice-cream in and so much air inside!!! Am I paying $6 a shake for air or milkshake??? When my kids finally got it, it was so light and non substantial, they finished it before I get to traffic light. What a rip off!!! 9/17/21 - So for three days I craved a tri-tip sandwich but too lazy to drive to Miracle Mile and decided to come here instead. I haven't been here since the middle-part of the pandemic when you couldn't stay inside after ordering or sit down to eat. The first thing I noticed was it is no longer called the "Tri-tip" it is now " Sirloin Steak". I asked the cashier what kind of bread it was on and she said ciabatta which is good because that's one of my favorites. They were not overly busy when I put in my order but after I got my drink, it looked like everyone decided to come here!! Those Uber & other meal drivers were coming in left & right to pick up orders as well as people like myself ordering & waiting for take-out. There was such a crowd for only one cashier, so some were bypassing her and getting the attention of others behind the counter. My food was ready and I got everything I needed. Once again, you are now able to get your own drinks and condiments so that helps a lot!! My sandwich was very good, I asked for teriyaki sauce and barbecue sauce on the side just in case the sandwich was a little dry. My onion rings were good, but the presentation of them was they looked like swiveled old people. Thank God I asked for ranch dressing. They were also offering dine in and I was SUPER hungry so...score! I ordered the Santa Barbara Char with onion rings and I was very happy with my choice. The Santa Barbara Char was served on thick slices of toasted bread with lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, avocado and cheese. It was SO tasty. The only thing I'd add next time is some bacon. The onion rings were fresh and really crispy. I'd definitely order both of these items again. I was also impressed with the Covid precautions that they are taking. They seat you at a table or booth which has been marked with a sign as sanitized. I saw an employee in the lobby cleaning tables and booths as people left. But they also have a small outdoor patio if you're still not comfortable eating inside.
