We used to buy tons of furniture, household decor, appliances, and building materials from this location. We have businesses where we second hand as much as possible with regular turnover (we do not sell the products, we use them). In the past we spent so much at this store that one time the person ringing us up commented about it. They saw something in the system (connected to our phone number) about our total spent YTD and their eyes got wide, so we explained what we do for our business and that what they could see was just for their location. What I am saying is... we have a pulse on what is a good and fair price for these sort of things. I looked at a couch not to long ago at this location. It was half off. The price was still, with the discount, over $1600. When you pay 0% for your inventory you should not be charging consignment prices. Full stop. It is a poor business choice. The idea is to turn over the inventory because more is coming while passing on a lovely savings to your customers. Not hang on to it while it collects dust because you've out priced the new items being manufactured. Know your customer base and price accordingly. We have left empty handed from this store every single visit this year (2026) because the prices have skyrocketed. For reference, we were looking for a washer and dryer...found one brand new at Lowe's cheaper than this Restore had (used no less). That is why I am writing this review. If the free inventory you receive is higher priced than the brand new inventory from the original store...well...here's your sign. So, we will likely have to drop this store from our rotation because time is precious and we cannot waste trips when we could find a better resource to take its place. That's just how it goes, I guess, but it saddens us because we like to support good causes and keep things out of the dump. read more

Restore is awesome! They have tons of great stuff and rock bottom prices. The store is clean and inviting and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We go there sometimes with a specific item in mind and sometimes just to browse for treasures. Well worth a stop ! read more

Aiden, a self purported supervisor, for no apparent reason other than he can fog a mirror, came out to review a truckload of excess building materials my wife and I had to donate. He was apathetic in relation to our offerings, commenting on this or that in a confused manner, in no way appreciating the fact we were delivering free items, the fundamental supply for the Habitat business model. He directed that they would take "some" items at the drop point and some would need to go to the "North side", with others. Since I had never been directed to anywhere but the main drop off point before, I asked the natural question as to what determined how the goods were classified per which side of their building it would be accepted. He responded with a non answer that literally meant nothing, saying "we take x, y and z types of goods here..." and on the other side...? He responded, literally saying on the North side they take x, y and z types of goods there. I followed up again when it seemed he was satisfied he had actually been responsive. He repeated the same nonsense. When I asked a third time suggesting he was not answering the question, he became rude and insolent, interrupting and talking over me indiscriminately. When I suggested that I now had asked the same question 4 different ways, and still did not have a reasonable answer, he interrupted and argued he had ANSWERED MY QUESTION FOUR TIMES, as if I were too dumb to understand plain English. Since I have been teaching customer service skills to employees of companies with high value clients for over 30 years, I suggested that he as a paid professional should not be so quick to be rude or impatient with customers (especially those taking the time to deliver and donate free materials to your doorstep, which you then sell and maintain your reputation as a habitat supporter upon). He could care less and shouted over me insisting again he had answered my question properly. (I think I would be the first one to know if my question had been answered, Aiden). A real disrespectful tool. Definitely not supervisor material. Someone I would recommend to my clients be allowed to go work for the competition. After Aiden managed to frustrate the situation needlessly, I asked for a manager. He insisted he was in charge and refused to get anyone else. Finally, a young Asian came out and listened to my thoughts, and answered my question. Aiden though it would be good to get in my face repeatedly and make matters worse while I tried to speak to another "supervisor". When I asked him repeatedly to stand away and be quiet he pulled out his phone and attempted video me in an attempt to portray me as the villain. When I continued my discussion with the patient young woman, he interjected and told me they did not want my goods now or ever and banned me from the store. What ridiculous and disrespectful behavior from such a young man toward an older couple for the sake of his own entitled hubris. When I finished my conversation with the young Asian woman, I thanked her, told Aiden, who was still going on at me, that he could use a lot of training, got in my truck and pulled slowly around to the North side of the building and completed our donation with the personnel there, without incident. Oddly there is no one to talk to about such things at Habitat either here in Bend or at the regional headquarters, as no one apparently cares enough to return a call or even post their actual direct phone number on line. I really do not care for charitable organizations who make their reputation off the backs of ordinary citizens who make ALL the donations, then fail to offer transparency or care about resolving issues or complaints. read more

Cool concepts to accept household and construction items for donation. We can get things we need for the house projects. There are so many sections of items to choose, from furniture to paint color. The store is so clean and well organized. No dust that I usually got allergic to when I went to other used item stores. read more

I took a small trailer load of donations down to their business today and they refused to accept them because it was too hot out. Never will I donate to the Bend store again... one of the items I was donating was an air conditioner... it would have taken 10min max for me to unload everything I was donation. I encourage others to just take their donations elsewhere... these people don't actually understand what a donation is. They must already have everything they need... Jimmy Carter would be extremely disappointed !!! Employees were walking around outside the donations area, yet were incapable of accepting donations... pathetic group of management to make a decision like that... it's not like we are in AZ and it 115 degrees... read more

Drove 3 hours from our house to this store. Arrived10 minutes before closing. They had the door section already locked up. Couldn't go there. Even though they didn't close for 10 minutes. I feel like this is supposed to be a place that works off donations doing things good for people. Instead they could have cared less. They could have unlocked it so I could see if they had a few doors in stock. Would have took 2 minutes. read more

This is a really nice restore. It's really big, has tons of stuff and is really well organized, and just generally feels clean. I didn't find anything on this trip, but would definitely come back again on my next trip to Bend. read more

What's better than recycling? Reusing! Not only does it make the planet happier, your wallet will be, too. Bend ReStore is full of stuff that's in fine condition as well as some that maybe isn't but it doesn't matter so much. Electronics, lamps, electrical construction, furniture, appliances, doors, windows, cabinets, patio stuff, tools, nails/screws/bolts, plumbing, moulding, various hardware and more. You could about build a house with stuff from ReStore. Prices are low. If you find something that fits your need, you'll be amazed at how much you saved over buying new. I went to ReStore to buy some area rugs and was told I could not look at them before buying them. I wanted to buy a 9' x 12' rug, and wanted to see if it was stained let alone see if I liked the pattern. They told me I had to take it home and if I didn't like it, bring it back. I'm a 65 year old single woman! I guess being elderly and single precludes me from buying certain merchandise at Habitat. Why? Because their volunteers/employees didn't want to be bothered to let me unroll and view the rugs. These rugs are not inexpensive either, and you'd think if one was going to spend $100+ on a rug there, they'd at least let me see it. Bad form Habitat. If you won't help all your customers, not just the young ones, then I certainly won't be shopping there anymore. read more

The amazing volunteers and staff were awesome. They came on Valentine's Day and totally removed our kitchen cabinets and appliances. Everything was removed and taken out to the trucks. Our place was left very clean. The volunteers were friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. I was so completely impressed. My experiences have varied so greatly. While in the past I used to find decent deals on building products, but lately, the times I've been interested in something in the building supply area, the prices for used materials are higher than buying new and the new volunteer in that area has no customer service skills.
