This place is amazing. It's like a home depot, radio shack, and permanent estate sale all rolled into one. And it's all local, because they get donations from area businesses, residents, etc. to re-sell all sorts of stuff. I saw a huge breadmaker for $10 and across the aisle (really, it's all in a huge unheated warehouse, but I guess it was an aisle) were like 237 concrete smoothing putty knive-things. Upstairs it looked like American pickers for lighting equipment. It was amazing. And then there was a separate building just for furniture and appliances. I saw two old timey fridgerators (Kelvinators, anyone?), they looked like they were brand new, but also kind of pricey. Anyhow, it's a great place to wander around when you get sick of Wal Mart. read more

Most everything is organized well, although there were lots of recent donations needing sorting; The Cause Closet has a lot of great stuff! Housewares, shoes, collectibles and clothing, you're sure to find that specially priced, gently used item that will give you the adrenaline any good thrift shop will offer all while giving back to a Cause!

Maybe Brian is a great and honest plumber, but the company isn't. Avoid at all cost. I've used multiple plumbing companies in Columbia over twenty years and every single one did better work at a lower cost, and I didn't have to be insulted in the process. My mistake to think anyone was as good and honest and fair-priced as JB Plumbing.
