This place is amazing. It's like a home depot, radio shack, and permanent estate sale all rolled into one. And it's all local, because they get donations from area businesses, residents, etc. to re-sell all sorts of stuff. I saw a huge breadmaker for $10 and across the aisle (really, it's all in a huge unheated warehouse, but I guess it was an aisle) were like 237 concrete smoothing putty knive-things. Upstairs it looked like American pickers for lighting equipment. It was amazing. And then there was a separate building just for furniture and appliances. I saw two old timey fridgerators (Kelvinators, anyone?), they looked like they were brand new, but also kind of pricey.
Anyhow, it's a great place to wander around when you get sick of Wal Mart. read more
