Bull doze it and start over. Its an indoor junk yard. Felt like i needed a shower. Best stuff is rotting outside. Flow of traffic is horrible.. Its just bad. Get a new manager and some air conditioning . if u go and i suggest u dont.. Get a tetanus shot. read more

Not up to par to the other HFH stores I've visited. Prices are high compared to Goodwill or to Salvation Army. Quality and selection is pretty low. Nice enough people work there... that's about the only saving grace of the place, IMO. They could do a LOT more to organize and TEST their goods. Not to mention, they could simply throw out some of the worn out and damaged stuff that they try to peddle. read more

I was very disappointed the last few times I went in to the restore. I used to find some great deals in there. Now, prices are way too high for the quality of the items. Used furniture that needs a lot of work to make it useable is too expensive to make it worth the cost. They had second hand tiles that are more expensive than what I just paid for the same thing new. I miss the old deals! read more

Horrible customer service for donating large items. I wanted to donate a nice bed but needed it to be picked up. Called and was told to talk to Amber at ext 8. I did as well as e mail her. No response to either. I gave up and sold it on Craigs list for $50. If you want to donate large items and can't deliver it yourself forget donating to the restore. Trash it or sell it is the way. Also a little Vicks on the upper lip helps while shopping there! read more

I moved to Montrose 2 yrs ago and compared to Grand Jct's store this one is nasty and should have changes soon. I bought a doll for my granddaughter and It was pretty gross so I took off the dress and found bugs in the waste of the dress. I didnt want to buy it in the first place but being a grandma she wanted it. I have other things that were so dirty and I have donated alot of good things to this store and they are always clean. The prices are way to high and there are things that I noticed that I donated and the prices were more then the dollar store. Also another thing is they put packing tape on alot of their products and when you pull it off it takes the finish off. do they not have people that know what their doing. I asked the person if they would take $4.00 for that nasty doll which was marked $5.00 and they said no we have a quota to make. People go in there to save money and you might as well go to walmart. Your clothes are stinky and wrinkled and heavens know what they might have in them just like the doll. I would drive to Jct Habitat before this nasty place. read more

The two positive reviews for this place must be fake or maybe you caught them on one of their better days. I have been to nearly a dozen restores in the country 3 of which were in Colorado. This is the most unpleasant Habitat for Humanity Restore that I've ever been to. Great prices on items of course but the great prices do not make up for the poor quality of customer service and the store is highly unorganized. Sold signs were not put on items that were purchased and furniture that was purchased by me was in turn sold to someone else before I could get back to pick it up. Most places put sold signs on purchased items right away. Do not use your money here. There are plenty of other places like this in Montrose with employees who are professional while at work. read more
