I went with the chilaquiles which I believe they're known for and they did not disappoint. Great flavor and definitely something I'd order again. I also tried the horchata latte, which was delicious and unique. It wasn't overly sweet, so if you prefer less sugary drinks, you'll love it. Personally, I would have liked just a touch more sweetness, but that's just preference. Service was fast and our server was very friendly. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the fruit portion was generous and tasted incredibly fresh, and the chilaquiles themselves had the perfect level of spice with really great flavor throughout. Super satisfying and definitely a solid option if you're craving quality chilaquiles. The only downside was the tri tip. It was pretty bland, the cut wasn't great, and unfortunately tasted more frozen prepared rather than fresh tri tip. As for the Strawberry Matcha, I wasn't the biggest fan. It didn't really taste like matcha at all and came across more like strawberry milk. It was still sweet and enjoyable enough, but if you're expecting an actual matcha flavor, this might disappoint. Better suited for someone looking for a sweeter, unique twist rather than a true matcha drink. Service was excellent, attentive and welcoming throughout the experience. The ambiance was also great, clean, modern, bright, and very open. Food was cool, the service was friendly, but slow. There was someone there interviewing and I hope he got hired because they definitely need the help. I got the iced horchata latte and it didn't taste like it at all. The Peets horchata latte has more flavor. The chilaquiles was ok. I wish the chips were fresher and did not become soggy with the salsa. The banana walnut pancakes was a waste of money. I thought they were going to be in the actual pancakes, but it was just plain pancakes with bananas and walnuts sprinkled on top, haha! Also, what kind of breakfast place doesn't have jelly?! Besides those things, the food was decent. The coffee was a miss, though. The inside is nicely done, but there also seems like a lot of space not being used. New breakfast / lunch spot in Gilroy to try. I have been meaning to try this based on the good reviews so far. I wanted to like it. I tried talking myself into liking it. However, I can't get there based on my experience today. The restaurant is really minimal . Maybe 20 tables all lined up in rows with no art or anything interesting to look at. I showed up at a good time (around noon). I could have been talked into breakfast or lunch based on my server's recommendation. The nice server told me they are known for their chilaquiles. He told me that they offered three different salsas to choose from , and that you can add-on tri-tip or chorizo for an additional charge. I chose to go with his recommendation and ordered the spiciest option with (no crema,) over -medium eggs and country potatoes. As you can see below, there was crema added on top , and my eggs were over hard -not over medium as I wanted. I think I ordered the wrong thing here. I didn't care for it , and wouldn't order again. The menu itself offers a variety of comfort food options for breakfast and lunch. Eggs, waffles, French toast , burgers, sandwiches and so on. I don't think I would come back. First Timer! This place is a hidden gem! We will be back! I had a waffle and just a side scramble eggs and sausage... really great tasting waffle and presentation! My sister had the BLT and said it was the best she ever had.. she also had an iced hot chocolate said it was really good and I had the iced chai latte.. also very good! The pancakes were fluffy and not overly sweet, and the breakfast plates were classic comfort food eggs cooked exactly how we asked, crispy potatoes, and hearty servings all around. At 11:30 I went back inside to check in about the wait time and how long it would take to get us seated. If I can a 2.5 I would. As soon as I walked in, there was no hostess to be found. After being seated, it did take us around 8-10 minutes to get our drink order taken. After receiving our drinks, it took our waiter another 5 minutes to take our order. Honestly, we were not satisfied with our drinks. We ended sending back our 'Banana Matcha' because it tasted like oat milk and artificial sweetener (it made my sister gag), to me it tasted like nail polish (weird ik). The staff is always friendly and attentive and the ambiance is nicer than most breakfast options in Gilroy.
