New breakfast / lunch spot in Gilroy to try. I have been meaning to try this based on the good reviews so far. I wanted to like it. I tried talking myself into liking it. However, I can't get there based on my experience today. The restaurant is really minimal . Maybe 20 tables all lined up in rows with no art or anything interesting to look at. I showed up at a good time (around noon). I could have been talked into breakfast or lunch based on my server's recommendation. The nice server told me they are known for their chilaquiles. He told me that they offered three different salsas to choose from , and that you can add-on tri-tip or chorizo for an additional charge. I chose to go with his recommendation and ordered the spiciest option with (no crema,) over -medium eggs and country potatoes. As you can see below, there was crema added on top , and my eggs were over hard -not over medium as I wanted. I think I ordered the wrong thing here. I didn't care for it , and wouldn't order again. The menu itself offers a variety of comfort food options for breakfast and lunch. Eggs, waffles, French toast , burgers, sandwiches and so on. I don't think I would come back. Nothing about this place stood out enough for me.

This place was super cute! The trio chilaquiles were delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. I hope this place gets busier because it definitely deserves it. I would absolutely come back if I'm ever in the area again!

Service was so friendly but I will say they were pretty busy this morning. We got sat fairly quickly but had a wait a good bit before ordering and paying our check but she was actually fanning herself a bit because you could tell she was doing her absolute best to get to everyone quickly. The food was so delicious. Husband got the green chilaquiles and was sweating a bit from the heat but couldnt stop because he was enjoying them so much! I got the Huevos Rancheros with the spicy salsa per our servers recommendation and loved it! Crispy bottom but yummy beans, easy egg and salsa on top. Husband says this is his new local favorite breakfast spot!

Came during the weekend rush and were seated in about 15 minutes, which was great. Food came out quickly and portions were very generous. The pancakes were fluffy and not overly sweet, and the breakfast plates were classic comfort food eggs cooked exactly how we asked, crispy potatoes, and hearty servings all around. The chicken and waffles really hit the spot, especially if you're craving something savory and filling. The chicken is actual chicken, not tenders, which makes a big difference. The chicken tenders with fries were also a solid choice, they're huge. Everything tasted homemade, satisfying, and honestly just really delicious. It did get busy, but the service was great and the food came out hot and fresh. Overall, it's a great spot for a classic, filling breakfast or brunch We'd definitely come back.

Food: pretty good brunch. Everything was served hot. Love the crispiness of the hash brown. I got the crab cake Benedict. The portion was huge and I was full after half of the plate. Matcha latter was overwhelmingly sweet. Remember to ask for sweetness adjustment. Service: the servers kept checking on us. They are friendly and attentive. Ambiance: plenty of tables inside and easy to find parking space.

The divorced potatoes were not very good, way too much salsa and very little chorizo-all you could taste was the salsa! Mentioned to the waitress that my food was not very good and she said she would speak to the cook, took my food and never followed up with a response! The Hacienda Benedict was good, lots of chorizo and eggs cooked perfectly. Plenty of seating but the place looks empty. Service was fast and friendly, pricing is fair-$18-24 average per plate for breakfast. Mixed coffees was good as well! Plenty of parking.

A very yummy mid-week change of pace for us: breakfast out! We have been wanting to try Hacienda Cafe and Grill near Home Depot in Gilroy and we're very happy we did. The space is quite large but very clean and inviting. My huevos rancheros were delicious, eggs medium over two fried corn tortillas smothered with a perfectly seasoned (not hot at all, but you have that choice!) red sauce and country potatoes. Frank's ham and eggs were perfectly cooked too. I already have lunch with a friend planned there--the menu is extensive and the service is great!

Was looking for a breakfast spot in the area, this one popped up with great reviews so decided to stop in. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Definitely coming back, live in San Jose and worth the extra drive! I ordered the huevos rancheros with tri tip, my daughters the French toast, my son the Chilaquiles (not pictured) and everything was a 10/10. My daughters are picky Eaters and French toast connoisseurs and said it was so good. Our meals were already half eaten when I took the pics.

Great food and excellent customer service. I had the huevos rancheros and tri-tip chilaquiles, both were amazing. The coffee was good, though I wish it had been a bit sweeter. The tres leches pancakes were delicious, fluffy and soft.

It's a relatively new place. The renovations and fresh flowers made it look romantic. Our waitress was super sweet and had great recommendations - I'd come back just because of her. Everything came out warm, food was well seasoned (tenían buen sazón) and the drinks were yummy. Overall it's a 10/10, there's items in the lunch menu I'd want to try.

Nice big open space with high ceilings, very clean and easy to get to in Gilroy. Came here from out of town (Denver) looking for something more healthy for breakfast. Hacienda did not disappoint, the scramble was delicious. Everything else was good as well, would recommend!

My friend and I had a Great breakfast here along with wonderful seasonal coffee. New restaurant with wonderful staff. Please try this place. You'll love the food and help a local owned restaurant prosper. I got the Benedict, she got a scramble. The fresh juice was amazing.

Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

This place lives up to all the hype as one of the best breakfast joints in the area, with huge portions, friendly service, and that cozy local vibe. I started with the chocolate cream drink (their rich, creamy hot chocolate or chocolate milk variation--whatever it exactly is, it's indulgent!). It was perfectly sweet without being overpowering, super smooth and velvety, topped just right. If you're a chocolate lover, this hits the spot and pairs amazingly with breakfast. Not too heavy, but definitely satisfying. For my main, I went with the famous Rosebud breakfast, and I can see why it's a favorite for so many people. It's a hearty, loaded plate with eggs, meats, potatoes, and all the classic fixings done exceptionally well. Everything was cooked perfectly--fluffy eggs, crispy edges where needed, and those fresh country potatoes were addictive. The portions are generous; I couldn't finish it all and definitely didn't need lunch afterward! The staff was quick, welcoming, and the place was buzzing with locals. If you're in Gilroy and craving a solid, no-fuss breakfast with standout items like the Rosebud and a great chocolate drink, OD's Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommend--I'll be back soon! 5/5 stars

I can say, without hesitation, that this was the second worst Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had in my life. The breading completely came off the steak. The steak was thin and WAY over cooked. It was tougher than shoe leather. I could barely cut it with the steak knife, and it gave my jaw a helluva workout trying to chew that thing. And the gravy was terrible. So thin, I could see the steak right through it. It looked like a glazed donut. That's how thin the gravy was. Then, I asked for EXTRA crispy hash browns. They weren't even regular crispy, let alone EXTRA crispy. The eggs and the English muffin were fine. It's hard to mess up those things. The service was fine, but the kitchen COMPLETELY dropped the ball. I drove all the way from Santa Clara, thinking about the great CFS they used to have. Wasting all that gas, for one of the worst breakfasts I've had in a long, long time. smh
