I called his office and he "stepped out" and was promised I would get a call back. I waited for 2 days and called back again since I did not hear back and was told that he is out for lunch and to call back in an hour. This went on for couple of hours and I finally reached Mr. Spevack and I asked if he responded to my landlords lawyer with our demands and he said he sent it to the landlord. Needless to say, my future landlord was very concerned at the moment because its been 3 weeks since sending over the lease agreement and had no response. He threatened to lease out the unit to someone else. I convinced him that this was all a misunderstanding and I will fire my lawyer and deal directly with his lawyer. I called Mr. Spevacks lawfirm immediately this time he would out of the office for medical reasons which he may or may not return for the day. I finally spoke to him the next day and I said I would like him to withdraw counsel. A week later, I reach out to my landlord and he says that his attorney didn't receive the letter that he withdrew counsel. I called back and again Mr. Spevack was no where to be found, they wanted me to leave voicemail in hopes of having him call me back, I insisted I speak to someone and I finally spoke to the "Assistant" & "Office Supervisor" who said that the lawyer only sends the letter to the client and it was sent 2 days ago, and when I asked if this timeframe is normal, she said yes, there was a long weekend even though this was requested a week ago. She also insisted that the notice only goes to me and not the opposing lawyer. I asked her about my retainer and she said I would have to speak to Mr. Spevack - Good luck with that. Keep my $600 for doing nothing but making me lose out. The only recommendations he has is from someone that working for him and his own son on Avvo. Its time to hang up the hat Mr. Spevack.

I tried to send a message on their website. I needed advice to see if my separation from my job…read morequalified as unlawful. I didn't hear from them after sending the message and tried following up the next week. An attorney called me from the firm and could tell right away he didn't want to be bothered. I will admit i was very emotional when i wrote the message as the incident just happened and perhaps legally my termination was not technically unlawful but the attorney was very condescending and didn't seem to want to even listen to me. He told me it sounded like a interpersonal situation . I was basically pushed out of my job by management and had someone doing my job while i was there, sounded like a clear harrassment situation to me, but i guess he's the attorney.
