Food-wise the prices were pretty decent (from an American perspective). I ended up trying the moose burger and it was well worth a try. The actual meat is slightly gamey--not as satisfying as a beef patty, but the mix of the cranberry jam (or some sort of berry jam?) they put on the burger actually mixed very well with the overall dish. The meat is fresh not frozen and not pre madd garbage. The Bun tastes like a potato roll and holds up, even with juice dripping. Cooked medium with a little pink and still juicy. Char grilled flavor evident and delicious. I had a single with cheese. (For some reason Norwegians prefer no cheese! ) Americans love cheese and we invented the burger for a good reason! CheeseBurgers Rock!! I only wish they would add Jarlsberg cheese, cheddar good and you need to offer, but this is Norway, add Jarlsberg as an option. I tried a burger at 4 other places during my trip. Two in Oslo, one in Hamar, and two Lillehammer. Brooklyn Burger Joint was by far the best I had and is also better than most places stateside. I ordered the "menu", which is what they call a meal deal. Burger, fries, and a soda. My choice was the classic with cheese and bacon. The size was perfect and the flavor was outstanding. The fries tasted great and there were more than I could finish. The only thing I think could be a bit better is the ventilation, but that's a tough battle when you're slingin burgers.
