I have 3 sons. 2 born in hospitals, and I remember the experience at this place was the absolute best experience I have had, hands down!! They were attentive and made the mother feel extremely comfortable throughout the process. The fact that I can still remember this 20 years later should tell you enough! But better late than never! They have a lab on site so that you can do all your blood work and testing there. The rooms are big and clean with a separate family waiting room, bathroom and kitchen from the main patient waiting area. The patient rooms are really clean and nice too. Plus there is almost never a wait to see the midwife unless someone happens to be in labor. There have been a few changes with the midwives over the last 3 years but I believe the ones there now are here to stay for a while. It's easy to get to (just about a mile past The Lost Sea) and up off the main road so it's very quiet inside. I love that you can call and ask to speak to the midwife right then. It's not like an OB office where you would have to press 1 for this, press 2 for this,etc and leave a message. I recommend this center to anyone I know that wants a natural out of hospital birth!

When you call for help. I could have overdosed! When called out on it, they hang up on you. I don't know what medication I should take and how to stop my bleeding, which did not begin until they put me on this medication. It's malpractice! DO NOT GO HERE

So they have inconvenienced me and then proceed to tell me they won't have any other openings for another month. I had already waited a month for that appointment. They should have been falling all over themselves and bent over backwards to get me another appointment ASAP. I have. Problem it's not just an annual check up. Do not waste your time here the patient is obviously not their top priority!

When he came in the room his body langauage was angry and closed off, and his tone was combative. He clearly had no interest in my experiences or any information pertaining to my health or well being that I had to relay. He responded with an angry tone and unrelated statements that made it clear he had ignored me completely. Is it possible to provide quality health care if the doctor is unwilling to establish a dialogue with the patient? It was clear to me that this man made a snap decision about who I am by looking at me and had no interest in my education level, intellect, or experience. He treated me as though I was not competent enough to be involved in my own care. After a while his churlishness faded a bit (but not entirely), but it was clear that engaging him in conversation would be pointless and would only escalate an already uncomfortable situation. He said he would call my medications in to my pharmacy, so I drove from the office to the pharmacy where my pharmacist told me nothing had been called in for me. I walked around the store for a few minutes while the pharmacist checked his voicemail to see if any of them were from my doctor. When I returned they told me again there was nothing from my doctor. I called the doctor's office only to discover they're gone for lunch without calling in my meds. So now I'm headed home without my meds because my husband has already missed a half a day of work to take me to this appointment. We can't wait around for an hour for them to return from lunch and another half hour to get my Rx filled because this bully of a doctor can't be bothered to make a phone call before heading off to lunch. Whoever said time is money clearly didn't understand that you can make more money, but I'll never be able to replace your wasted time. Also decency and respect don't cost a damn thing.

You will not get the respect NOR medical care you truly deserve. He called for tests that would not reveal the infection I had, as I later learned from another physician. He made me wait over 6 months to do tests and had me keep a journal of my pain. Then even after testing he claimed there was no problem and the pain (and low-grade fever) was all in my head. Said he wouldn't do any additional testing until I saw a shrink. I left his office, got on the phone and made an appointment with a doc in Cleveland. He diagnosed me with an infected uterus and endo. I have now heard from three other women who had endo that they were done EXACTLY the same way. I find that rather disturbing, as if this 'doctor' WANTS YOU to go on living in pain and not being able to bear children! I actually HATE this man! He was also rude to my husband as well. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He is now writing for the local paper so I don't know if he is semi-retired or what. If he isn't retired he SHOULD be. He is a butcher as far as I am concerned. A very sadistic person. NOT what you would truly call a 'doctor'. NO compassion whatsoever!
