I contacted Eric Haines about cutting several trees for me. He started out at rent house, cut 2 trees and did a good job cleaning up the mess,working after dark. I got an estimate from him for a big oak tree in front of my house, he said he gave me a discount price of $2700 , another tree service quoted me a price of $2000. I told Eric that I would go with cheaper quote and I knew him because he had done work for me in the past. Then Eric agreed to do it for $2000 so I let him do it. He sunk in my front yard, cracked my driveway, busted the lower wall will the heavy limbs, tore up my flower bed,and didn't put back. Cut my utility lines and didn't tell me until dark that I needed to call companies to get them turned back on, i got an $80 reconnect fee from cable company, plus ATT said there will.be a $1500 fine for cutting line. While the man in bucket truck cutting limbs Eric was laid back in his truck seat, another man was cutting limbs with his 5 year old daughter around all that.And mama Rachel was sitting in my yard smoking one cigarette after another pulling withered petunias off my plants. Eric would leave and left her to help clean up mess working until 10pm with no lights, no tools to work with,they had to borrow leaf blowers, rakes ladders etc. They left a horrible mess in my yard and the neighbors, also on my roof. Its a nightmare, now trying to get ahold of them their phone is disconnected. Then he had his mama to ask me if i would give him the other $700 . I'm going to their business because they are going to pay for some of this mess. read more

Eric and his crew did a fantastic job cutting down our trees. My husband and I were worried about one of the trees that was leaning over our house. They took their time and made sure no damage occurred to the property. They also did a great job cleaning up after everything was done. I called Haines Tree Service to lay down a large white oak that was very close to the back of my house and 20' from a neighboring house. The only reason I called was because I had recently had an ankle fusion and did not think I could safely lay it down myself without damaging the prized empress tree that was 40' away. Eric Haines quoted me $450 to lay the tree down where I had positioned a yellow bucket as a target. This would miss the empress tree and adjacent house. He tied a cable to the tree and with his assistant in his truck pulled the tree down on top of the empress tree, shearing it in half. Eric showed no concern that he did not follow instructions and still demanded full payment. His total time on the properly was 30 minutes left a 24" stump behind, putting no more effort into the job. His reasoning behind not removing the stump or cutting the tree off closer to the ground was because of the proximity of the saw between it and the house - 36" away. Also, by the time they left, there were numerous cigarette butts littering the ground. I will NEVER do business with them again and am encouraging and warning all of you to stay away from these unprofessional people. read more
