I had originally scheduled an appointment ahead of time for a spiral perm with Debbie and arrived to my appointment at the scheduled time only to find out that she had a family emergency (understandable because life happens) no fault of hers and was asked if I could possibly reschedule by Melissa whom was there and I think she could tell by the hesitation on my face that rescheduling wasn't really what I wanted to hear and I explained to her that I had just recently lost my mother and was hoping to be able to have my hair done before her celebration of life this coming weekend so she stepped in and saved me although she certainly didn't have to do so, I am so very thankful that she did because my cut and curls turned out absolutely amazing!!! I have never had a spiral perm turn out this good. And let me just say that she can certainly multitask because she wasn't only working on my hair but appointments that were already booked with her as well. If you are a guy who cares about his hair I suggest you find a different shop. Showed a picture of what I wanted and they cut my hair way too short. My hair was long enough for the reference I gave too because I grew my hair out for 4 years. Now I have grow it back out again and go to a professional that actually earned there license. read more

I asked for a fade up the sides starting at a 2 and scissor the top about 1 inch. I left with basically a 2 up the sides and an uneven top. The worst part is featured in the photos. Aside from the uneven lines, she absolutely butchered my neck. It seems she was in such a hurry to close the shop an hour early that she just ran the razor across my neck as quickly as possible. I've never had an experience this poor at any hair place. Without a doubt, I won't be stepping foot in another Hair Cuttery again. read more

If I could leave this piss poor place no stars I would. I came in last weekend for a haircut, the young lady asked if I had an appointment,  to which I replied no. She then said they had no availabilities and were fully booked for the day. I said okay and left( even though the sign on the door says walkins welcomed!) Fast foward to this afternoon I came in at 12pm for my SCHEDULED appointment. I was then told the lady I requested was not gonna be in. I said ok, but Noone even gave me a call or anything. The young women says "no we don't I'm so sorry and we don't have anyone that can cut your hair today, do you want to reschedule for tomorrow?" I told her no I do not actually, said thank you and left. I did call back on the way home in hopes of speaking with a manager. The person who answered was Renee, I told her what was going on. She was very nice and apologetic even said she didn't know why the women told me nobody could take me when she WAS IN THE BACK! She offered for me to come back and she cut my hair. Got my son his first (professional) hair cut and NANCY was beyond amazing! She did such a good job that I'm here today for my own haircut! The girls in this salon are super friendly as well. The only downer is that they do not do appointments, just walk-ins; however when you walk in, you can request a specific stylist. *parking lot is way too small! Because of where the Starbucks drive thru is, I suggest parking on the side of the closest to the entrance of the parking lot so you can get out (otherwise the Starbucks line can block you in for who knows how long!). read more

My son comes here because there is only one person who he lets cut his hair. I came earlier in the day and this place was packed. Most of the time when I bring him, it is busy. We came back this evening (Saturday) and there was no wait. Appointments can be made, though. Prices are about what you would expect from a hair salon. Costs my son about $18. The salon is in a small plaza outside of the mall. There is a Jersey Mike's subs, a yogurt parlor, a cell phone retailer (cricket) and a Starbucks. The parking lot is way too small, especially with a drive up for Starbucks. Overall, this place just ok. We come here cause my son likes his hair dresser. I get my haircut on base, so needless to say it is much cheaper! read more

They did okay for a trim on my daughter's hair (3) so I came back. My son is 18 months and really good especially when you distract him with snacks. I held him during the cut. All I was looking for was to clean him up a bit. He had long fine frizzy hair in the back that made him look messy and I just wanted that fixed. She ended up tapering him up that ended with cutting his ear. Which I mean happens, so even though I was upset I didn't take it off on her. When we got home I got a better look as he was walking away. It looked like a bob because it was tapered up so high and it was crooked. I ended up just shaving his head. read more

I have been going to Shervonda for five years now and I highly recommend her. I am neither young nor beautiful but she is a gifted stylist and I leave looking like Helen Mirren. She always makes me feel welcome and she remembers what I like. Even so, she checks with me each visit and truly listens. One of the best signs that you have a great haircut is how soon you need to go back. Her haircuts suit my face and still look great months later. The salon always looks squeaky clean and has very little clutter. I have never had a bad experience. read more
