I did some research after having difficulty finding a quality haircut that wasn't over 100 dollars in the area and saw that Bella from hair experts had a lot of great reviews , I don't know why the title on here is Hair, but it's hair experts . I saw that alot of the staff was very young so I went through them all one by one, and having been burned in the past at other salons I chose Bella since she was clearly older, and the owner of the salon. When I arrived she came and greeted me after a few minutes and then told me to hold on. She only had told me Hello and then left. A different person came and got me a minute later. We did a small consultation of what I was looking for and honestly the whole time I was confused. I knew this didn't look like the picture of the person I had booked nor the correct age but I thought maybe Bella was running late and she would come in after, although nothing was said to me in anyway. I also thought maybe she is Bella and I had messed up when I booked. When she started washing my hair she asked my name and I told her, and then asked hers and she told me she was Kaitlin. I mentioned that I was pretty sure I booked with Bella and she told me, yes you did but she's taking longer than she thought and so she put you on me instead. I was a little taken aback, but she said I'm really good! I cut Bella's hair! Based off the fact that NOONE has asked me if this was okay or if I wanted to wait for Bella or reschedule I was already pretty upset but my hair was soaking wet, and it was 20 degrees out so I didn't really feel like I could walk out. I decided to give this girl a chance because at this point I was a little stuck and I really didn't want to offend her. But had it been explained to me ahead of time, I would have rescheduled. I asked for curtain bangs to hide a patch in my hairline and volume. I also asked for a side part. Later when I realized my hair didn't look right I looked up curtain bangs and discovered you can't get them with a side part, so she gave me side bangs, which in all fairness I asked for a side part, but I'm not an expert and she should have explained it would no longer be curtain bangs. She gave me as much volume as my hair would allow, and did most of the cut on dry straight hair even though my hair is permed so that's not its natural state. I didn't think of that at the time, but she should have. Before I left Bella did come over and apologize, when, ya know, it was way too late for me to make a difference choice. When I left there Kaitlin had given me a lot of volume, I told her it wouldn't hold but that I loved volume and she delivered. However the moment I get home and all the volume was gone, it didn't look good anymore, and once I washed it, the bangs are awful with my normal hair texture. I would go someplace else to have them fixed but they're too short so I will have to wait till they grow out. Lastly they ONLY accept cash but continently have an atm in the salon. The reason I call that convienent is that it's a common thing people do to scam their customers out of extra money. The fees associated with the atm always go to the owner of the establishment so they usually charge cash to force you to use it, and don't warn you before you come in. It also doesn't state it ANYWHERE on their site so that must be exactly what she is doing. It's not the first place I've dealt with that only deals in cash. Makes it easier for them to declare what they choose on taxes as well, but usually they give a heads up. read more

Note the name of this salon is "Hair Experts".. Bella is an excellent hair stylist. She is easy to communicate with and will do exactly what you ask. If you bring a photo of the hairstyle you want, she will give you that style. I love how I leave the salon with my hair perfectly styled. With other stylist I would have to go home and tweak it with my heat styling brush. But with Bella I can go from salon to dinner date. If I ever have one..:) read more

If you book an appointment here as a new client, ask how long your stylist will take to talk about your hair and give you a wash, cut and blow-out. You should receive a MINIMUM of 45 minutes. At Hair Experts, appointments are booked too close together and the owner Bella turns over her chair every 30 minutes. If the salon says that isn't true, ask for an appointment that is 45 to 60 minutes and see what they say. Any decent stylist should spend at least 50 minutes on your hair, especially if it's your first visit. Even my father's barber spends more than 30 minutes washing and cutting his hair. When a friend saw my new cut she unknowingly said "So, you decided to chop your hair off!" She didn't know I had only asked for a one-inch trim. My hair is a mess and I'm not even sure it's even. She has been there for her customers during this difficult time, and is EXTREMELY accommodating to her clients, both long standing and new. I'm so pleased with her "Eye" for hair, both cut and color. jesus christ the man that cut my hair needs to resign. i have never in 21 years of life gotten a worse haircut by anyone. not only is it fucking uneven on every side it is short on one side long on the other. i have to let it grow out because its so bad. i have never in my life experienced this level of hatered for myself and i will never step foot in this establishment again. i would stay away they have no fucking experience at all like literally at all. i would give a negative star if i could really get it the fuck together guys this is a hair place you should have some goddamn direction. read more

I've given this place enough chances. Clearly more help is needed at Hair Experts. Bella (who according to prior reviews is the owner which is shocking) has a bit of an attitude problem and tends to too many customers at once. When you go to a salon you expect a little pampering. She also doesn't listen well to your instructions. However, I have had a great prior experience with Paul who, not only is extremely pleasant and genuine, bends over backwards to satisfy you and does his best to accommodate your requests. Just went for the first time, and it was super chill and comfortable. Courtney cut my hair and it looks great! Granted, I am a guy and I've got a dome so not much can be done for me but she and another stylist seemed to think I looked like a famous rapper (RIP) and I get that a lot so I can only hope it's a compliment! I was seated immediately, the conversation was relaxed, and nobody was awkward or anything. I do recommend and will return. It's right by my job and only set me back $18 before the tip for a cut and wash. And you don't even have to sweep the floor!) read more

I called Hair Experts around 12:30 looking for a solution to my faded pink ends. I had already attempted to color over them but the color didn't take. I called, explained the situation and they said to come down at 2pm! Surely enough, Amy was available right at 2 to see me into a chair and discuss the situation. Amy was knowledgeable and assisted with my issue. Although I have slight notes of purplish pink in my hair still, they look like intentional highlights. I couldn't have expected a better turnout. Two great experiences here. One was my 8 year old daughter's very first hair cut ever. Paul did a beautiful job. The next time I got my hair cut after a good 8 years... I don't remember the girls name but she did a great job and the blow dry was fantastic. My hair looked great. Hair Experts?? I disagree. Here's how my recent experience went. Walked in the door and was in a seat within a minute. I explained I had just washed my hair (it was mostly dry but the back was still semi-damp) and didn't require a wash. She roughly combed my hair and cut it dry. Never picked up a spray bottle to wet it. Having had dry cuts before, I wasn't too worried, as long as the person is experienced, you can walk away with a decent style. I've had a similar hair style for the better part of two years and asked "please just follow the lines and keep the layers"..."and please don't cut length from the bangs" (they were side swept and framed my face.) She pointed out that my previous hairdresser left me with an uneven cut and she could fix it. She took texturing / thinning shears to my entire head, cut the bangs so they were above my eyebrow line...to which I gasped! She spent maybe 8 minutes total chopping at my hair, then she was done. It's going to take me months to grow out this horrible cut. read more
