I booked my facial two weeks ago on the phone and was not asked for a card during booking. I got a call at 7:30 pm the day before my appointment and was asked for my card to confirm the appointment. I was walking my dog and didn't have my card. I was told I needed to go online and upload a card to their website before midnight in order to confirm my appointment. I did that. When I showed up the next day for my appointment, I was told it had been cancelled because I failed to upload a card. When I showed on my phone that I had uploaded a card, I was told they don't accept Amex and that my card wasn't accepted by the system and thus my appointment was cancelled. They apparently tried to call me that morning once but didn't leave a message. The person who did the facials didn't come in that day because i was their only appointment. It was very disappointing. That being said, the woman who was there was apologetic and offered to rebook me with a discount or do my nails. I ended up getting a pedicure from her that I thought was very good. She was friendly and did a great job with my pedicure!

Inside they continue with a glamour/boudoir theme with chandeliers, pink bows and flock wallpaper. I've had Natalie cut my hair here, and she was very nice and gentle handed. She listened carefully to what I wanted and double checked before cutting which was reassuring. Linda has cut my fringe here and she also did a great job. Both ladies seem to know everyone who comes in - and it is a busy salon as there wasn't a gap for two days when I called for an appointment. They also seem to be a favourite in the area to cut children's hair but don't worry if you have come here to relax - there is a firm notice on the door stating that children must be quiet and under control! It is certainly relaxing here, they keep the local radio on low. Aside from the hairdressers you can also get a massage and waxing of various hairy bits done here. The back rooms are split up into little modules for each of the treatments. Prices for haircuts are very good - I paid £16 for a wet cut and £2 for a quick fringe trim.

I am yet to try any of their other treatments, but just by going on the Valentine's Day special I had, I would definitely recommend them. Having endured several cruel asides about my orange palms, streaky knees, brown cuticles and crusty, muddy elbows, when I was due to be bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding I decided to call in the experts. But, knowing I was attending a wedding in a visible role with my dearest friends (and harshest critics), I decided arriving the mahogany tone of David Dickinson or the orange hue of an Oompa Loompa was not desirable. I trawled the websites of Bristol's beauty salons and decided it was best to avoid the San Tropez nightmare. I Candy does a really good range of airbrush tans, so I plumped for them. Yes you do have to drop trou and don the paper panties, but I promise you, you won't end up looking like Ross from friends. The result was so good and realistic that I decided to go with them on my own wedding day. I was somehow also persuaded to go for bio-sculpture gel on my finger and toe nails and, desperate to be the perfect bride, I agreed. However, I found it to be a really destructive force on my nails. The woman at the salon did assure me the layers would come off with a strong remover but that was not the case. And when I did finally get them off, the nails underneath where like brittle, wrinkled grapes. It's taken six months for them to recover. So, I would say go here for spray tans, but not for nails. They do do a range of other treatments from the more invasive treatments like skin tag removal, electrolysis and teeth crystals to the more standard like main-pedis, waxing and facials. The only other treatment I've used is waxing, which was fine and I'm sure many of the other treatments would be. But the salon is a bit shabby inside and I think the service could be better and more personal.
