I liked that the bathroom has a bathtub - was exactly what I felt like after a long day of travelling. The check in process is simple and the staff are lovely and polite. The restaurant has a great menu and the food is very good. The rooms and the hotel are a whole was very clean and well presented. I would certainly stay there again.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! David and Elvira are such charming hosts, and the food and wine selections are excellent. We loved our reception and our beautiful suite so much; we returned for another week's stay last month. David and Elvira were once again so charming and accommodating -- they even remembered my parents from the wedding. :) I can guarantee that you will not find a lovelier, feels-like-home experience than this beautiful place. Oh, and the breakfast options included in the room price are absolutely delicious! Very private location with beautiful grounds, but quick access for site-seeing in the surrounding communities. David and Elvira always have wonderful suggestions for day trips, I reccommend that you inquire upon arrival. Lovely, lovely place!

There was a good selection on the menu both for breakfast and dinner. The waitresses were very courteous and hard working. Because I had mentioned I was gluten free on our first evening the next morning my breakfast came and a little later on some gluten free toast. This was much appreciated also the gluten free soup in the evening. The entertainment was very good. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. My only comment was I felt a few more waitresses were needed but they did very well. Altogether a brilliant stay thank you.
Lyons Nant Hall Hotel

This is a lovely pub with great facilities for the family. Big park, archery at weekends (£5…read morecharge), cute pagoda. From driving into the Hall's statue lined driveway to sitting down in a booth under a sparkly chandelier, surrounded by walls wrapped in well thought out wallpapers. I was impressed and looking forward to a lovely meal that was bound to live up to the price? Right?? The food was ok... I had a Sunday roast (on account of it being Sunday) the beef was, eerm, well done. A Wellington boot away from the succulent pink meat that was described on the menu. The veg was almost it's saving grace, had a nice bounce whilst still retaining it's crunch, the cabbage on the other hand was vile, would have been much more palatable with a hot pot. Gravy and Yorkshire pudding were winners. It made me look a little more closely at the surroundings I was so impressed with, it's try hard, like the food. This is a fantastic pub, they just need to embrace that they're a pub.

Looking at the very limited meal options for vegetarians, we saw the Quorn lasange but felt a bit skeptical as to whether it was just the microwave ready meal they sell in shops. We asked the waitress who confirmed that no they don't make it themselves and yes it's just the ready meal. Utterly disgraceful. How can you charge £5.49 for a microwave meal that you can pick up for £1.00?? I've made a vegetarian lasange from scratch using Quorn mince several times and it takes very minimal effort. It's very illuminating that the so called chefs at the Ffrith can't manage that much. The fact that they're fleecing customers like this and don't even preparethe food themselves is just vile, and I'm still shocked at the audacity of this. I am genuinely repulsed by this establishment and I urge people in the Prestatyn area to seek other venues if they're dining out. It's an unpleasant, dirty environment and if you want to eat microwave meals, you're better off doing it at home. Stay well clear.
