The associates lied to me and to my family; especially in front of my children. They charged me a 46 dollar pet fee. When I asked them about how high it was, they said they lowered it to 30 dollars a night. However, they lied and and only lowered it to 39 dollars a night. Come to find out that they don't charge a pet fee as I discussed this with another hotel clerk the next day. They asked if we wanted a roll away bed and stated it would be free of charge. Come to find out they lied on that and charged us 15 dollars for that. The toilet in our room broke down and had issues. We took off the lid of the toilet and found out that they had rigged the chain with a safety pin. They chose not to fix the problem, but forced us into another room. My wife had a business meeting at the moment online and it interrupted her. It also caused me to be late for work. The pool is freezing cold and the hot tub is luke warm. They lower the temperature when there aren't that many people at the site so as to save money. There were multiple complaints from other travelers who mentioned that this happens often with this site. They promised me that I could speak with the manager about the problem. However, the manager refused to speak with me and made my family wait in the cold and snow. The manager messed up my receipt as this was a business trip and the receipt needed to be the original that I paid for. The manager did not take responsibility nor was accountable for her actions or the actions of her employees. There was not any apology or communication. I will be contacting my attorney and I will be contacting the Best Western corporate offices. All employees involved need to be terminated as this is very serious and this location is not taking it serious.

Best place to stay in Western Wyoming. Hiking trails are only minutes away. The town of Pinedale has several excellent restaurants, including the China Gourmet. The exterior of stone and logs seemed to fit this area perfectly, especially with everything covered in snow. Inside the room one of the most comfortable beds ever, pillows too. The only thing that I can think of which is comparable, was a $300+ per night hotel in New York. While it is unlikely I'll ever be in this area again I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Kinda hate to leave but I'm hoping the next hotel in Jackson, Wyoming is just as comfortable. Our gracious innkeeper, Emi, welcomed us in, got us into a room for the night, and offered up all of her maps and guidebooks, as well as her expertise. We took everything and headed over to the laundromat to regroup. She signed off on our new proposed route and wished us well. We were also greeted by the motel dog, Bird, who's an animated critter who goes wherever Emi goes. We had another yummy dinner at the Wind River Brewing Company (which I've also reviewed), and a relaxing evening in our room, which was really two rooms, a living/dining, and bedroom. The front room has a kitchenette as well, but there's really no comfortable way to do any TV watching (a big novelty I enjoy in motels as there is no TV at home) and I think I ended up sitting at the dining table watching it or something else odd. It would also be really cool to see an update to flat screens. The decor is rustic and cute, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9, and it's delicious, homemade, and substantial. The creek runs out back, there's plenty of parking, and if you are a hiker or a climber in particular, this is the only place to stay in Pinedale.

Easy and safe parking, nice neighborhood, close to dining and shopping. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. Forest (owner) met us and showed us our room and gave us tips on local info, including a music and food truck festival in the town park (which made a fun evening!). Looking forward to our next visit!
