I would not post any stars if that was an option. Long story short, went in for oil change, tire rotation and patch one tire with a screw in it. Patched tire and did not check air in all four. Three had 40 psi and the patch had 32psi. Owner said that's all they put is 32psi...then why didn't they take care of the other three? Skid plate has four screws and to change the oil, only two back screws need to be unbolted , not the whole plate. Whole plate was removed and when put back on, only two back screws was installed and could not align the front for whatever reason so they just left them off and I did not see the skid plate till the next day. Brought it back and the guy knew what he did explained it and what happened is one of the two bolts got sheared off after I left and now the remaining bolt needed to be removed. They gave me my car back and I asked if all four bolts were now in place and the guy said "yes ma'am" little did he know I would look for my self and find that three of the four only put in place and the one sheared off was zip tied and I was lied to. I confronted the owner and he confessed that he the other guy to just replace it with a shorter screw because he didn't have the tool long enough to extract the bolt. So he lied and was going to do a patch job on my vehicle and send me down the road. Do not assume you are in good hands with Brad at his facility as he will only insult your intelligence and think it's okay to lie to you and patch his mistakes and send you down the road. read more

A friend of mine and I purchased two used Chevrolet 2500HD diesel pickup trucks in Walker, Louisiana on October 2, 2025. We are from Virginia and I wanted to perform oil and filter changes on both trucks before we made the 1,000 mile trip home. So, I purchased oil and filters from Walmart.Com. I had everything shipped to the dealer we purchased the trucks from so it would be there when we flew down from Virginia. I had intended to perform the oil and filter changes myself. The dealer told me about Half Time Oil and Lube Center which was just up the road. Despite not purchasing the oil and filters from them, the owner Brad and his staff were absolutely outstanding in quickly and efficiently performing the oil and filter changes. The owner Brad was a really nice guy and accommodating. I had a tire pressure warning light come on right before I was preparing to leave. Brad immediately resolved the problem with his great staff. I've been going to Half Time since 2016ish. As a woman I feel totally confident and comfortable with these guys. I've never had them try and rip me off or pull a fast one. If there is something wrong they let me know what's up and how it can be fixed or if they can't they recommend the best to help. read more

Fair prices. Quoted $80 for alignment. I like that they schedule you for it, said it takes about an hour & can sit and wait or walk over to the Family Dollar store which is convenient. Btw, I'm also a woman and read another reviewer say she felt taken advantage of when they declined rotating her tires, because they were too worn. Other places will tell you that too. They say to get them rotated every 3 months or 2500 miles WITH your oil change. I'm trying to do better by scheduling a rotation so I don't forget because I get synthetic oil & that can go longer. But Waiting almost a year as reviewer said, is TOO long unless you drive less than the recommended miles. So they could have been right both times!! I am not gonna jump to conclusions based on that. I'm trying to find trustworthy local businesses to rely on and giving this one a shot. I will update review after service complete. Regarding the concern mentioned, I also feel vulnerable to workmen from past experiences being taken advantage of by being a women, but I have no experience of that here (and no matter where I go, or whatever I'm told , before I make any costly DECISION, on anything I'm unsure of, I'm always gonna call my Dad or male best friend to explain & ask THEIR advice, until I know I can trust the business.) read more

Amazing! Truly amazing. I called to see if they could do an oil change quick! They said gimme 10 minutes. I got there and was greeted immediately. Altogether I was there for maybe10 minutes; went to the c-store next door and my car was ready!!! Synthetic oil, 10,000 miles and cheapest in town. IT'S WORH THE DRIVE TO WALKER. Wow!! read more

left a rag sticking out under my hood, did not clean up the spilt oil on the engine, stripped a lug nut and is needing to waiting for a new one. i care about my car a lot and thought they were going to handle my car with care. they were not careful with their work. will definitely be going somewhere else. read more

Fair prices and pretty fast. However, beware if you are woman! About a year ago, they told me I couldn't get my tires rotated and balanced because they were old and had worn too differently to rotate, so they'd make loud noises when driving if their positions were changed. I'd need a new set of tires. So, I bought some from them. Fast forward... less than one year later, I tried to get my NEW tires rotated and balanced, and they said the same thing: "Your tires are too old and worn too differently to rotate, so you'll need new ones." Hi, yes--please, if you're going to scam women, try to remember when you've pulled the same trick on that woman before. I'm no longer giving you my business, and I hope anyone who reads this agrees. read more
