I bought a rather expensive Bosch battery just over 3 years ago as it had a good warranty. Tayna…read moredelivered it the next day. The battery started playing up two months ago with slow cranking and not starting the car. I had to jump start it a lot. I had the electrics checked out and bought a second hand battery from a scrap yard. This second hand battery didn't fail me and still hasn't. I performed all of the home tests with the Bosch battery as Tayna suggested (including removing it from the car and trickle charging it). It worked for a day and then failed again. Tayna wanted me to return it. This cost £20, no fault was found and it was returned to me. A week later I installed the Bosch battery. It started my 2009 diesel s-max straight away. I took it for a 40 minute drive, parked for 10 minutes and came home. It started OK again. The next day I did a 10 minute journey. I was parked for 5 minutes (getting diesel) and the car started, but struggled to turn over. I drove home in 10 minutes and left the car until the next morning. The next day it would not start at all. I used a jump pack and it started. I did an hour journey and parked for the day. When I went to start the car, I needed to use my jump pack again. I took the battery out and put in the second hand battery back in. I had no more problems starting ever since. I invested in another charger and trickle charged the Bosch battery. It did the same as before, worked for a couple of times and died... Back went in the second hand battery with no problems. I am now at a loss. I have already spent £20 for you to say that the battery is fine. I'll use a local motor factors in future

Got a battery for my VW Golf in February and it died after only 4.5 months of normal usage. Well if it's good they take it back and refund me, why not? I spend 20min charging it and I have pictures and videos with timestamps if anyone would like to see them. Will update this review with time. Now they claim the battery they sold to me is unfit for my car. Then why when I was searching for it on their website with my car details it was recommended to me as battery fit for my car?
