Can often be much cheaper to buy your own bulb and get someone to fit it for you than to go into the main dealer and ask them to do it! An excellent resource to have on your doorstep.

I had the most dreadful trouble having a car stereo installed at this store…read more The first time I went to my (pre-booked) fitting they didn't have either the stereo or the leads in stock, the second time they didn't have a fascia, the third time they fitted it - however I realised that the radio didn't work properly! I eventualy got it resolved at another Halfords branch - they neglected to fit an arial adapter! Each time I went I was told different things by different staff - much of it was wrong. I'm still waiting for their Customer Services to respond to my complaint but I'm not holding my breath! I regret using Halfords and wish I had gone to Uplands or somewhere else.

I went to get my bike "fixed" nearly 2 months ago and it's now worse than when i dropped it off! Staff member told me to wait whilst he checked over my buke and never told me my bike was ready so i was left ealking around the shop for over an hour! Then when i picked it up they said they couldn't find an issue and charged me £95!!!! I then went back a week later and the guy told me to come back in a week when the other tech is back (probably because he couldn't be bothered) and when i came back to get it checked again he told me to come back in a month. So i waited and when i went back yesterday for them to fix it they just said they haven't prded the part so they can't fix it! This really p***ed me off!!

The good thing about when you buy a car Cd player from there is that they will fit it for free for you. Also if you are interested in buying any of the more expensive car wheels then if you want they will set up a payment plan with you, making it more affordable. The shop is really organised and well laid out as bits to do with bikes etc are together and so on. The staff are really helpful and are happy to advise you on which product is most suitable for you.
