The teachers somehow managed to wrangle headstrong 3/4 year olds into order and make every lesson magical. However, the owners really just go above and beyond in so many ways that show they really care. The parents nights out every month are viewed by my daughter as a "ballet party" and we all look forward to them. They capped off the year with a recital called "Bravo Bash" and all the sweet girls got dressed in fancy costumes with tiaras and got to show off everything they learned. Each dancer had an opportunity to take photos and was presented w a tiny stuffed swan to commemorate their Swan Lake performance. They offer a few adult classes as well as a variety of classes for kids.This studio reminded me of my studio I went to growing up. The girls in the class were very close and small town. The class did get off topic a little bit which happened at my studio as well. I took the lyrical/contemporary class on Thursdays 6:30-7:30. I wish it was an hour and a half. The girls in the class ranged in ages from high school to college. The class consisted of a warm up, turns, leaps, and choreography. I think that the choreography could have been taught a little quicker. Considering this was a local studio and I don't think they get much drop in traffic everyone was very nice. I think I might have been a bit of a distraction during class - some of the girls kept asking me questions to get to know me. It was sweet, but I just wanted to dance. Drop in class is $15, monthly is $55 for first class, add a 2nd for $25/mo and a 3rd for $20. I will be back for the class again next week.

Recital and dress rehearsal scheduling is disastrous in every way. Imagine carting your entire family to four or five recitals to watch your child dance for two minutes per show? Hours of unnecessary travel and sit around and wait because of their inability to schedule. Don't forget, you'll need to take off work and check your child out of school for rehearsals. Oh, and you'll need to buy tickets to all these different shows for everyone at $20 each, including even your dancer! Simply not an enjoyable, family-centered experience. to conclude a year of class fees in the thousands.

It was like night and day compared to the on base class. My Gym has lots of baby exercise equipment and structures. It's clean. There's fun music. Although this is a non competitive environment, my kids are excelling in their skills and gaining so much confidence in their abilities that they're willing to try new things.
