I have stopped by a few times before catching the bus after occasionally passing this location. It looks like a very popular coffee shop to work at. The staff was friendly and nice. There is a decent selection of coffee and food with many you don't normally see. They are really good and are some of the best.

Halo Espresso Bar is a corner-lot cafe great for catching up with friends or studying. Decent amount of seats and tables around. DRINKS (4.5/5) We ordered an iced Triple Caramel Latte and an iced Nutella Latte both in a medium size. Drinks were great! Creamy, true to the flavour, and kept the integrity of the espresso. AMBIENCE (3/5) The interior has a mishmash blend of modern furnishings (counter) and rustic home furniture. There's a mural of the map of the world with coffee related overlays. Plenty of natural light from the corner unit windows. SERVICE (1.5/5) We came at a peak time on a Sunday afternoon and there was only one staff working! The line and orders were so backed up it took 15-20 mins for our drinks. The barista was really sincere and apologetic which I empathized with. Just left me a poor impression of management by only staffing one person on a weekend. Wouldn't recommend for a takeout coffee especially at peak times. ACCESSIBILITY (3.5/5) The cafe is located near a major intersection and not far from the 403. There is parking at the back of the building although it seems it is paid during weekday business hours. OVERALL (3/5) Nice cafe spot to get some work done with good coffee options! There are also food options which I didn't try. Don't really reco for takeout coffee.

One of my favourite study/work spots. They have free WiFi and many places to sit. It's a quieter cafe most of the time too. The baristas are friendly, and the drinks are also really good, especially the specialty drinks.

A go-to cafe in Mississauga that has tons of seating, a good variety of well priced drinks and food items, and is centrally located. I came here last Sunday to do some reading and journaling and got an iced dirty chai latte (around $5.25) and a cheddar and chive scone (around $3). It's the perfect place to study, catch up with friends, or just grab a drink to-go. The servers are always super nice, and the overall vibe is super bright and welcoming. They also have glasses and water available to refill while you're there.

My husband and I have visited Halo Espresso Bar a couple of times now. We just love the ambience there. The barista is always so friendly and helpful and the coffee is delicious. It's such a pretty little place with plenty of seating and is always so clean and tidy. Another huge plus is that there's a huge parking lot located behind the café and it's free to park! We've had the flat white, the cappucino and the latte and they've always been made to perfection. It's not bitter or over-roasted. I'd highly recommend checking out this gem!

Lovely coffee shop in Mississauga with great coffees, lattes and pastries. They got long hours too considering it's a coffee shop in Mississauga, closes at 8pm. The perfect spot to chill, relax and do some work. It's very spacious, lots of room to sit. Definitely check out their double chocolate cheesecake. It's to die for!

This has got to be one of the nicest coffee shops in Mississauga! It has such a sleek and clean aesthetic with amazing menu items! Make sure you try their Nutella latte! Amazing! Also the bueno latte is sooo good! Their cookies are delicious and you HAVE to try their white chocolate pecan cheesecake! Absolutely to die for! It has such a nice chilled out vibe and great for coffee/brunch date! Service is warm and friendly! Definitely recommend'

We stumbled upon this very cute little coffee shop while driving around the area. Service is very good and there's ample space for groups of 2-4 to sit together. There's a number of pastries available as well as your regular drink choices. Try the coconut chocolate latte, it was delicious!

Very beautiful coffee shop, the environment is very relaxing and the food it great!! The employees are extremely friendly and made my food and drinks super fast.

Located at the SW corner of Hurontario/Agnes. Parking lot is attached, around the back.

Tip: Enter parking lot via Agnes Street. You can also park along Agnes...if you're adept at parallel parking and there's space! If you're coming by car, try to avoid Dundas/Hurontario altogether. It's just a very congested intersection and it can be tricky to enter lot through these main streets. I'm always on the hunt for a place to meet up with a friend and do some writing and Halo checks most of the boxes! It's relatively quiet, there's free Wifi, parking, plenty of seating which is fairly comfortable, and some nibbles. And the fact that Halo is independent is a definite BONUS!!! I find Starbucks and Panera waaay too noisy. There's always someone jabbering loudly in the background and constant coffee grinding. Plus the seating it only bearable for a coupla hours - MAX. Space here is plentiful, atmosphere is bright (corner unit, surrounded by windows) and cute! The entire café has been renovated, so everything feels clean and new...even though it's located at the 5&10. Shoegazery music plays in the background. I was even able to get some reading done here which is unheard of! Food choices are limited to baked goods and paninis/bagel w/ cream cheese. So don't expect a full-on meal. My only criticism is that there was no brewed coffee?? So I had to upgrade to an Americano. I just found this very strange and I wasn't given an explanation. Isn't that like going to Tim Horton's and finding out they don't have donuts??!! I have a sense that they're still trying to figure out how to make certain drinks which is fine, but that's understandable for something more difficult than plain ol' coffee. I'm slightly confused, but will be back to see if they have coffee next time! Besides, there aren't that many places like this in Mississauga.

Im not the biggest fan of peach but it was not bad as well. The Raspberry Mousse Cake was well balanced and not too sweet or tart. The Strawberry was the standout star, delivering a bright, nostalgic taste that was pure Strawberry Shortcake perfection. I was equally impressed with the richness of the Dark Chocolate Espresso pastry, a deep, satisfying choice. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff was very efficient with keeping the line moving quickly. While I noticed some seating, I was so focused on the sweet goodies that I barely registered the environment. I'm already planning my next trip! A crucial heads-up, however: the pastries I enjoyed all feature a light, airy mousse filling. If that texture or lightness isn't to your taste, you might want to skip

The place was cozy and serene. We ordered the Almond Croissant (4/5), OG Fried Chicken & Waffle (3/5) and the Huevos Verdes Shakshuka (3/5). Almond Croissant was both buttery and flaky. It was moist all throughout but I wish it had that little bit of crisp on the outside when you take a bite out of it. Personally, the almond extract was too subtle for me. Some almond slices could've been added to this pastry as well. OG Fried Chicken & Waffle was okay. The fried chicken itself was crispy even though it was coated in the ghost pepper and maple sauce. The maple flavour wasn't very distinct and the overall flavour profile of the sauce was tangy and leaned a lot more towards a Nashville fried chicken sauce. This was quite a let-down since we didn't expect that flavour profile and if we did, we would've just ordered their Nashville Fried Chicken & Waffle instead. The creamy slaw was placed in between the chicken and the waffles which resulted in the waffles being soggy. I suggest asking for the slaw to be on the side instead. Huevos Verdes Shakshuka was also okay. The highlight of this dish would be the spicy tomatillos, onion, garlic paste and pepper sauce that came with the eggs. However, my eggs were overcooked as I asked for over easy and got over hard instead. The hummus was okay. It could use some lemon and garlic to enhance the flavour. The flat white and the cortado were both decent. They were smooth and creamy. Overall, some improvements could be made in terms of the flavours and textures of the dishes. I do like the interior; it's a cute cafe and brunch place to go to.

Service was decent. The unisex washroom was a surprise to me. Overall, it was a good experience and I would love to try their other dishes, especially the empanadas.

And we're off to the (not overly hectic) races! Our waiter raves about the coconut ebi mayo ($23), a dish that's been a staple on their menu and he claims is a favourite amongst patrons. For me, it's too soft, the batter lacking crunch and coconut textures. If anything, it's simply fried shrimp with a couple of sweet sauces for flavour. Not much coconut and no definitely mayonnaise. Perhaps the dish just needs to be renamed to "tropical fried ebi" for clarity. We did enjoy the chicken cobb salad ($22), a hearty dish that's more of a "bowl" than "salad". With only a scant amount of salad mix, the dish combined fresh avocado, torched corn, tomato, and of course a generous fillet of crispy fried chicken. I loved it for a lightish but hearty dinner and would push for this to be a staple if it isn't already.
