Do not recommend. As a new client, when I went to file my taxes back in March, I had two W2 forms. They lost the one form and filed my taxes incorrectly. The amendum process has been a nightmare ever since, and the employees at Hamilton have not been helpful throughout the process. read more

This firm used to be really great. Unfortunately with their growth, it has been at the sacrifice in the lack of detail and dissappearing customer service. I am a real estate agent and just discovered that they did not include ANY of my business miles. For what they charge, they should not make the types of errors they have been making. My last tax return was such a train wreck, I am going to need to have those audited to see what else was missed because I am not a tax pro. When I tried to bring this to the senior partners attention (that I had a relationship with) she gave me back 'one liners' in an email that told me she wanted talk about it but didn't have time for me for several months. I am still waiting for a call. I also asked about the changes from congress regarding LLCs and I was told don't worry about it, now I am getting emailed about these important changes. They have to do better with customer service. If you are an existing client proceed with caution, because I will bet there are errors on your returns. Its disappointing after being with them for many years, but with no return calls or concern to address major issues I just can't be a client anymore. read more

I was so happy with their service. I continued working with them. They are very reliable, helpful, and very trustworthy. Why 5 stars? Because I've found my tax accountant for life. --- --- --- Prior to a couple of years ago, I was an annual user of Turbo Tax. I could input my W2's, answer no to all of the weird questions, and anxiously await my refund. Ah, those were the days. Fast forwarding to 2015, my taxes are super complicated, and I'm usually left with an I.O.U. to the government afterward. After Yelper, Michelle M and her husband Roger recommended Dustin Orr, I figured I would be an adult and get an accountant. I'm a super organized person in just about every aspect of life, but I am horrible with keeping track of my taxes. I pretty much just don't think about it once, and then come March, I try to dig up all of the info at one time. It's not fun, and I especially dread it since I end up owing money. But once I have all of the info, I send Dustin an email with about 50 different numbers of money I spent on this thing, that thing, and that other thing. To me, it's a jumbled mess, and I'm sure Dustin has a moment where he re-considers the profession he chose when he opens my emails. But we'll go back and forth with 2-3 emails consisting of follow-up questions, and next thing I know, my return is complete. Hassle-free... for me, at least. As long as I don't drive Dustin to quit doing tax returns, I'm a customer for life. read more

I met with one of the senior accountants at the end of January of this year after a friend had recommended them. I specifically asked if the firm would have the dedicated time to serve me and the various businesses I am involved with and the gentleman said yes. So I was asked to put together a laundry list of items which took several hours that I spent 4 or 5 hours gathering on Saturday night. The senior accountant and I emailed each other for the next week or so on some various questions etc. Last week I reached out once or twice and radio silence. I got an email just prior to 8:00 AM this morning saying the firm doesn't have the manpower to address my needs and I should take my business to H&R Block or another firm. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???. I have employees who haven't received their 1099's yet because I was relying on these folks after they said that a staff accountant was working on them and that I should have them this week. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! STAY AWAY!!! I don't usually right reviews for much of anything but this was ABSURD!! read more

Best decision EVER! We were able to get an appointment the next day with Rachel, who was AMAZING at preparing our taxes.
