I had paid half down for a new roof in August of 2018. They still hadn't installed it by the time…read morehurricane Michael hit because they said they were waiting on new sunroofs. Since I had pre hurricane price they didn't seem to be in any hurry to do mine until I left a bad review, then they said they would come if I changed my review. The 2018 roof installation went fine I thought, until I started having leaks the metal roof of my Florida room and patio cover. I thought it was the metal roof seams so had that repaired, but it didn't stop the leaks. Turns out it was improperly installed flashing. called and started the GAF warranty, which incidentally doesn't cover the flashing, and Art Construction charged $950 to fix the flashing 2023. I have continued to have leaks and again thought the flashing was fixed so had the metal roof seams repaired again. Finally talked to the company who installed the patio cover and he said the place it was leaking could ONLY be caused by the flashing. Now Art Construction is not going to warranty their work, will charge me again! According to research flashing should last at least 15 years!!!!! This company does NOT stand by their work. BEWARE!

Out-of-pocket over $4000. By the spring of that year, he showed up again, with a new crew, and told my neighbor to check the windows to see if they needed to be replaced.?? My house had over 6 figures damages. I've done the best I could getting it repaired little by little by myself and it has been an absolute living hell and nightmare. damages, and that's after the repairs that I have been doing individually on my own, because of ARC Construction. The garage door fell in almost on my car. They removed the doorhandle from my door because I kept telling them my door would not stay closed, he wouldn't believe me about that until it finally stayed closed for good it would not open. He left me without a door handle on my front door for over a year. Sadly I look over other reviews, and throughout all of that time yes they were all working on homes and repairing houses. They were even repairing houses in homes for people that never were not residents of Panama City Florida I Bay County or impacted by hurricane Michael, sending photos back-and-forth. I didn't even know that they really truly had moved on to really repairing houses until HomeGoods opened over a year later, and I met a lady who is shopping who is about to move back into her house that ART Construction had been working on. I never said or did anything out-of-the-way to any of those employees. The first was Gary and he went missing with Danny. After that was Don Jackson and he pretty much stayed missing, or had an excuse one after the other. Eventually the roof was inspected a year or two after it was installed, it failed inspection due to the flashing, they held onto a bad air quality report of mold and mildew that they did not disclose to me. Did they had the audacity when I got fed up, to send me a cease-and-desist letter with $350 in it. Stay away from those people. How is anyone ever to guarantee that they won't be there next victim?

I was very impressed with the patience and professionalism of Bryan who worked with me to help me understand all my options and what his recommendations were. I also never felt pushed into trying to schedule the job right away like some contractors will try to do. My questions were always answered and they did what they could to stay within a reasonable budget for us. Once I was able to go ahead with the new roof, they were able to work within my schedule and in an appropriate amount of time. I was very impressed as well with the work ethic of the crew, they were thorough and very hard workers. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves well. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone in the Panama City area. Every interaction I had with the company and their employees was positive and you can tell they care about their customers and are very honest people, which is not always easy to find these days!

In 2017 Greg's crew installed a metal roof over what we know now was all rotten. The contract called for wood replacement of 4 sheets Of plywood but if more was needed the cost would be more. Not a single piece of wood was replaced and I was never notified of a problem. The metal came off in the hurricane in 2018, 16 months later because it had nothing to hold on to. Greg was notified several times and ignored all requests to right the damages. The whole inside of my house is ruined. This wood was under the metal. No underpayment was use either.

When I approach the owner about this, he push blame on the product and how it was difficult to installed. The product is called hydroblok and it is installed exactly like drywall if you are a professional drywaller. Geoff, the company sales guy look at the product and told me it wouldn't be a problem installing it. If they had a problem installing it, they should have told me. The truth is he (Alex) didn't want to lose the contract, and tried to hide the way he butcher up the product I paid for. It worth mentioning that he told his workers to hurry up and throwing compound on the wall to hide the terrible installation. It's been 3 months dealing with this company to fix this and nothing is better. Now Im force to seek legal representative in order to get my refund. I would not recommend this company to my enemies.
