What a pleasant surprise to find at 11 pm after driving all day. Rooms are clean, well prepared, and comfortable. Beds are amazing, and everything you need is provided. We were trying to make a last minute reservation, which we initially made at another hotel and whew...... NEVER AGAIN. We looked on our Hilton app and found this one instead. It was Great location. WONDERFUL hotel setting... and the BED and PILLOWS.... I need Hilton to email me personally with the links for the BED and PILLOWS...After being on the road all day and night, this room was perfect..... The rooms are clean, spacious and the bathrooms have their own shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion that are attached to the wall and shower area. And not just some raggedy cheap stuff. They thought very carefully about the details of this hotel and it turned out exceptionally. We 100% would recommend this location! read more

Somewhat limited in what I can review as this was a short stay. Got in late and checked out early as part of a road trip. Used the Hilton app to check in and select my room. Plenty of well lit parking. Digital key worked just as promised. Walked past the indoor pool and the front lobby to get to the elevators. Everything looked fresh and clean. Same for the room. Plenty of space, and everything from flooring to bedding was very nice. Not far from the highway and yet experienced no road noise...or noise of any kind. Left early using digital check out. Our experience was horrible. When my husband walked up to the desk the black woman sat her desk in the back and stared at him. My husband asked with help to check in. After he gave our info she told him our credit card was blocked. Even my call to the credit card company did no good. She wanted $400+ dollars and rent a new room. This is one of the nicest Hamptons we stayed in. It was recently renovated and remodeled so everything has been updated. While things aren now very modern we are not fans because the furniture is very hard and uncomfortable. The bedroom was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We especially like the clean duvet covers that are always provided for the beds. The breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh and refilled as needed. We will return if we ever travel through the area. read more

I did an early check in and picked the room I wanted. After all, that's one of the reasons I choose Hampton. I love that perk. I get to the hotel at 4:00. Check in time starts at 3. Emma, at the front desk, gave me some attitude when I commented on the sign that states the hotel is not responsible for injury or death if anyone visiting the premises dies from COVID. She suggested that I must not have stayed at a hotel for awhile. She added that all hotels have this sign. I stayed at a hotel the night before and did not see a warning sign like this one. So, I give Emma my name and said I had already checked in and picked out a room. She very rudely told me the room I picked isn't ready. She said there was another room that was cleaned and ready. Now why wouldn't they clean a room that was chosen by a guest before the other. She also informed me digital check in and keyless entry aren't working due to computer outages. That's fine but her delivery was not warm and welcoming. I just drove 8 hours straight and being treated like this was not the hospitality I have been used to at any stay from brand hotel in the past. My evening was completely ruined in less than 2 minutes. The woman and man behind the front desk in the morning were very nice. I realize help is hard to find and management is at the mercy of their employees. I also realize I have the freedom to take my business elsewhere. Two of the main reason I choose Hilton. I can guarantee that on my way back home, I will take a pass on Acworth Hampton. read more

After abandoning another hotel in the area that we pre-paid on Travelocity, my husband and I checked in here for several days during a vacation to the area over the holidays. Considering how disastrous our other hotel stay had been (review 4 that one to come), this Hilton- owned Hampton Inn seemed like an incredible bargain. We were excited to find out this was a Hilton-branded property (we both love Hilton). We reserved a room with a King bed on an upper floor. Check-in was simple and fuss-free. It took only a minute and the concierge was great. She knew we were in bad moods when we checked in after checking out of the hotel from the hell down the street, so she was cheerful and went out of her way to placate us. Our room was very nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and I got the best night's sleep that night and every night we stayed the rest of the week (and trust me, we needed it, for real). Since the hotel was new (it's a new hotel, it only opened around January 2019, as the concierge us), we knew it would probably be to our satisfaction, even if there were a few kinks to be worked out. My husband immediately headed downstairs to the gym to alleviate some stress and I decided to grab a hot shower while he was at it. The only real kink was that the shower head pressure had been, for some totally inexplicable reason, turned all the way off on the shower head and I'm short and only someone very tall or on a ladder to service it could turn it back on. Not wanting to wait on my husband, I called downstairs to get maintenance to come up and fix the problem, but they were rather busy, so I had to wait til my husband got back to reach it better (he's 6'4, so it was a snap for him). The room accommodations were great, the bed was comfortable, the free WI FI was decent, the bathroom beauty products the hotel offered were nice enough, plus the room had the standard issue iron/ironing board, safe, luggage rack, hairdryer, refrigerator, plasma tv, plenty of extra outlets for charging devices on lamps, etc, nice towels, safe, Keurig, microwave, plus a bar area underneath the tv, etc. The pool was nice, but it isn't the large one pictured in the business photos. The exercise room was fine and definitely helped alleviate stress. There's even an outdoor sitting/patio area near the back of the hotel, where we hung out enjoying a bottle of wine since the weather was so nice. The lobby also had one of those "mini-store" areas behind the concierge area to purchase extra food and drink items, etc, which we actually did utilize (we usually don't). The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was quite good, as it had fresh oatmeal, fresh fruits, pastries, a make your own waffle bar, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, yogurts, etc. I noticed the staff refilling food items constantly, so no food items on the bar ever got low or ran out and nothing looked past its prime, either. I liked the variety of yogurts, fresh fruit compote and the waffles, while my husband preferred the hot oatmeal and sausage and gravy. Overall, you get your money's worth. Every table was always super clean and the staff was on the ball about cleaning up. I never saw any trash sitting around and the staff was constantly cleaning tables, replenishing food or asking guests if they needed anything. Overall, the price was right. Considering how horrible the hotel from hell that we checked out of had been, we would have gladly paid more for this one, but we were surprised to find out it was only a few dollars more a night than the other place. Wow. Checking-out was a snap, too. My sister had recommended we stay here in the first place and I'm mad at myself for reserving another hotel over this particular hotel in the first place. I hate it when she's right (which is rare). Next time we come back into the area to visit, we''ll stay here again. read more

I've had a problem with Hilton Hotels double charging me, when I prepay. This trip I just reserved a room for August 2, 2022 with a credit card. For unknown reasons Hilton charged me for the room on Jul 3, 2022. I didn't do anything knowing I was going there and paid the bill with my July Mastercard statement. When I arrived at the Hampton Inn in Acworth, Georgia, I told them I wanted to resolve the erroneous charge before I checked in! I called corporate Hilton and they said the local hotel made the charge. The manager of the hotel said corporate made the charge. I called Mastercard and they started a dispute of the charge. In the meantime, the manager of the Hampton said I was an unprofessional customer and my card had been declined anyway. While on the phone with Mastercard disputing the erroneous charge, I asked if my card was declined. NO! So after an hour of resolution, I said I'm ready to check in to my reserved room. The manager brought in this large young man, who said my reservation was cancelled and to leave the premises. Fearing for my life, I left, after telling them this was a discriminatory practice. This morning I received another pending charge from the same Hampton which refused service on a card they said was declined. I called Mastercard again and now need to call Hilton corporate. All of this has never happened to me in my entire life! read more

This hotel was very nice. They had the room doors sealed with tape to show they had been cleaned. The room was very clean and comfortable and smelled great. Beds and linens were nice. Pool was warm and nice. Only complaint was that they only had half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. When we asked for more it took a little bit to get. Very modern and clean location. Pool is very large and parking is abundant. Breakfast was great with many options from biscuits and gravy to cereal or yogurt and everything in between. The employees are very helpful and offer assistance without being prompted. I love the family style seating in the lobby area that encourages guest interaction. Conveniently located across the street from a gas station so skip the two dollar bottle of sodas and $3 bottles of juice and grab it over there. Overall a great experience. Only thing I didn't like was the sliding bathroom door that doesn't lock. read more

On Tuesday, 26Nov2019, at around 0940am, I checked into this Hotel that was booked by my apartment complex while they worked on my apartment. I was checked in by a really nice young lady by the name of Faith. After I had breakfast, I went to my "First Room", Room 312. Upon entering the room, the room looked nice. I suffer from OCD and I always inspect the bed(s) and bathroom for cleanliness before settling in. As I began my inspection with the bed closest to the window, I pulled back the comforter and noticed a long strand of hair on the top left portion of the bed. I then notice a smaller hair towards the upper center of the bed. I then proceeded to inspect the other side of the bed including the pillows and found more hair on the bed and hair inside the pillow case and a stain on one of the pillow cases on that bed. Since I had a double bed, I ignored the inspected bed and proceeded to inspect the second bed. On this bed I found hair on the bed and pillow, stains on the sheets, and even a piece of, what appears to be a small rhinestone stuck to the pillow case, leading me to believe that the pillows cases were not change from the previous guest. I continue to inspect the room and bathroom and found more hair and dirt on the floors, and even a splatter of what appears to be dry blood under the bathroom counter. Of course I'm not sure if it was blood or not. Hair was also found next to the bathtub and toilet. As I was gathering my stuff to head back downstairs, I noticed even more hair on the floor between the rug and vinyl. (See attached photos of Rm 312) After I left Room 312, I went to the front desk and shared my findings with the front desk clerk, Faith. She was shocked and clearly disgusted. She called for her manager, who names I do not remember, to show her the photos I took. She herself was disgusted, very apologetic and unhappy with the situation. She then moved me to another the 2nd Room, Room 208 in hopes of corrected the issue. Room 208: As I entered Room 208, I set my belongings down and proceeded with my inspection of the sheets. I started off with the bed closest to the window again and I was shocked of the amount of hair that was throughout the bed. It looked like someone had shaved their beard on the bed. I was so grossed out. How can housekeeping missed that? (Below is the video I made of that bed in Room 208) I quickly inspected the second bed, but the first bed was enough. I gathered my stuff yet again and headed back down to the front desk. The young lady Faith greeted me and didn't seem very surprised to see me again. I showed her the video and some photos, but the video spoke louder. She ask if she could take my phone into the office to show her manager. When she returned with the manager, the manger was now angry and once again very apologetic. She then ask that u wait while she goes and finds a clean room for me. While I was waiting, the front desk clerk, Faith receives a call from the manager. I asked if she found a room, and her reply was "No". I asked if the room she checked was dirty, she replied with "Yes". Finally, they said they found a room that was a lot cleaner, according to Faith. Faith asked, "if a King size bed was good?", I said "yes". She said she was very sorry, and hopefully "3rd times a charm". I giggled and headed upstairs to my 3rd and final room, Room 316. 3rd Room, Room 316: As I entered the room, once again, I placed my belongings down and proceeded to inspect the room. The bed was find, the only thing I saw was two small hairs on the top left corner and some on the loose sheet. At this point I was extremely exhausted since I had been up very early today and just wanted to rest, so I just dusted off the two hairs and took the sheet off and went downstairs and asked the front desk clerk, Faith if she can just give me a new sheet. She did and I headed back tot he room to shower and rest. As I was getting ready to shower, I noticed that the shower head had mildew, possibly mode on it with some red markings. I used a small towel to clean the shower head before using it. (See attached photos of the shower head and I small towel I used to wipe it down). Since the mildew, possibly mode, and red marks were towards the center of the shower head, I made sure that the shower setting was for the wide spray and not the center spray. Since I needed to shower badly, I tried to take one fast, but felt so freaking grossed out and concerned that I would get sick. I quickly got out and put on clothes, gathered my stuff and headed downstairs with the towel I used to clean the shower head to show, Faith, the front desk clerk, and asked to cancel my stay. Faith, was shocked of what I showed her and was very apologetic. She went to the office to speak to her manager once again to inform her of my decision to leave the Hotel. Faith returned to explain what I had to do to cancel the stay. At no time did the manager speak to me. read more

Upon our arrival at the hotel last night, we found hair on the bathroom floor & wall and a liquid spill in the refrigerator. The shade did not work either. We understand that with Covid, breakfast is limited, but a cold muffin & yogurt was the worst we have encountered on this trip when we stayed at 6 different hotels (5 of them were Hilton properties). The front desk did not even offer anything off due to the unclean room. We were very disappointed. read more

When we arrived for our stay at 6:00 PM, I was told our room was not ready and there wasn't another room that could be offered. Fine. I understand that things happen and I was OK with this. The lady behind the front desk, Faith, told us it would be 40 minutes and she would call us on my cell phone to let me know when it was ready. Two hours pass and I received no phone call. I walked back in to the front desk area and Faith is in the back room. I go to the front desk and I am not greeted because she starts talking to another guest about things that are available around the area. Mind you, I was there waiting before the other guest came up and she continues to talk to her ignoring me entirely, knowing I have been waiting for two hours for a room and received no phone call. I didn't even get an "I will be right with you". A gentleman comes over and asked me if he could help and I explained the situation and Faith hears me because the other guess looks over and could see how upset I was. After five minutes of the gentleman trying to help me, he finally asked her to finish up. She offers no apology and gives an attitude. I asked to speak to the manager and she responds with you can speak to the manager on Monday she'll be in then. She clearly did not care. This is completely unacceptable. My family and I stay at Hampton Inn's all the time and this is by far the worst service we have ever received. As I was out by my car bringing in our luggage at 8:30 PM, the gentleman who tried to help me at the front desk actually came over to my car and offered a sincere apology. When he was at the front desk I could tell he cared and was trying to help as best as he could. After speaking with him for a few minutes, I found out he was the housekeeper Alan. He is the type of employee that should be recognized for his efforts. Again, this whole experience is unacceptable. We have always trusted in the service that we have come to know at Hampton Inn. This experience has changed that. The service we received, outside of Alan, was a huge disappointment. read more

ONE WORD and it is Delores..... Be very, very, careful and think twice maybe three times before you book anything at this hotel. I am a Hilton Honors member and use the Hilton brand almost exclusively and thankfully have never encountered anyone in a management position at a Hilton hotel as unprofessional as Delores. A mix up on both parts with the Hilton app resulted in a double booking at two local Hilton brand hotels. Long story short, we stayed and paid (gladly), at the other hotel but Delores likes to wield the power and tell us we were paying for a one night stay for a hotel we have never stepped foot on. She was nasty over the phone, did not follow up with us in any capacity and put the charge through. Thankfully she does NOT represent Hilton as a whole and we were refunded at the corporate level and were offered an apology for the experience. There are other hotels in the area, stay away from this one. read more
