    This is one of the nicest Hamptons we stayed in. It was recently renovated and remodeled so everything has been updated. While things aren now very modern we are not fans because the furniture is very hard and uncomfortable. The bedroom was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We especially like the clean duvet covers that are always provided for the beds. The breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh and refilled as needed. We will return if we ever travel through the area.

    After abandoning another hotel in the area that we pre-paid on Travelocity, my husband and I checked in here for several days during a vacation to the area over the holidays. Considering how disastrous our other hotel stay had been (review 4 that one to come), this Hilton- owned Hampton Inn seemed like an incredible bargain. We were excited to find out this was a Hilton-branded property (we both love Hilton). We reserved a room with a King bed on an upper floor. Check-in was simple and fuss-free. It took only a minute and the concierge was great. She knew we were in bad moods when we checked in after checking out of the hotel from the hell down the street, so she was cheerful and went out of her way to placate us. Our room was very nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and I got the best night's sleep that night and every night we stayed the rest of the week (and trust me, we needed it, for real). Since the hotel was new (it's a new hotel, it only opened around January 2019, as the concierge us), we knew it would probably be to our satisfaction, even if there were a few kinks to be worked out. My husband immediately headed downstairs to the gym to alleviate some stress and I decided to grab a hot shower while he was at it. The only real kink was that the shower head pressure had been, for some totally inexplicable reason, turned all the way off on the shower head and I'm short and only someone very tall or on a ladder to service it could turn it back on. Not wanting to wait on my husband, I called downstairs to get maintenance to come up and fix the problem, but they were rather busy, so I had to wait til my husband got back to reach it better (he's 6'4, so it was a snap for him). The room accommodations were great, the bed was comfortable, the free WI FI was decent, the bathroom beauty products the hotel offered were nice enough, plus the room had the standard issue iron/ironing board, safe, luggage rack, hairdryer, refrigerator, plasma tv, plenty of extra outlets for charging devices on lamps, etc, nice towels, safe, Keurig, microwave, plus a bar area underneath the tv, etc. The pool was nice, but it isn't the large one pictured in the business photos. The exercise room was fine and definitely helped alleviate stress. There's even an outdoor sitting/patio area near the back of the hotel, where we hung out enjoying a bottle of wine since the weather was so nice. The lobby also had one of those "mini-store" areas behind the concierge area to purchase extra food and drink items, etc, which we actually did utilize (we usually don't). The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was quite good, as it had fresh oatmeal, fresh fruits, pastries, a make your own waffle bar, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, yogurts, etc. I noticed the staff refilling food items constantly, so no food items on the bar ever got low or ran out and nothing looked past its prime, either. I liked the variety of yogurts, fresh fruit compote and the waffles, while my husband preferred the hot oatmeal and sausage and gravy. Overall, you get your money's worth. Every table was always super clean and the staff was on the ball about cleaning up. I never saw any trash sitting around and the staff was constantly cleaning tables, replenishing food or asking guests if they needed anything. Overall, the price was right. Considering how horrible the hotel from hell that we checked out of had been, we would have gladly paid more for this one, but we were surprised to find out it was only a few dollars more a night than the other place. Wow. Checking-out was a snap, too. My sister had recommended we stay here in the first place and I'm mad at myself for reserving another hotel over this particular hotel in the first place. I hate it when she's right (which is rare). Next time we come back into the area to visit, we''ll stay here again.

Lyn consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is comfortable, safe, and welcoming. I even brought my newborn baby here because I knew we would be well taken care of and in a secure environment. The hotel has always maintained high standards in every aspect--from cleanliness to hospitality--and it truly shows. We're currently in the process of house hunting and chose to stay here during this transitional time because of the exceptional service we've come to rely on. From Lyn's outstanding leadership to the friendly breakfast staff, attentive housekeeping team, and dedicated groundskeepers, everyone reflects the high standards she has set. As soon as I walked in, there was a bag with trash in it sitting on the desk in the room. The toilet was dirty and needed the bowel scrubbed and the trash can was full of trash and not emptied. I promptly went to to front desk and the attendant acted like he couldn't even care less. He did give me the key to another room and these are the pictures I took from the second room. The bed wasn't made and had unidentified spots on it, the phone and remote were disgusting, the trashcan had a used diaper from a previous party in the trashcan, the tv was dirty and had something stuck to it, the AC unit was cracked and severely aged, bathroom countertop was filthy, door didn't fit in the frame to seal, there was exposed wiring in the room. Not sure what the problem was with this hotel, but I won't be back.

    We've stayed in the Kennesaw area before, but at another Hampton that is nearby. We saw this one…read morewas in the same area and decided to try something different. We were greeted by a very friendly clerk who welcomed us and gave us our Honors treats. Our room was clean and had all the amenities necessary except a micro wave. It had a small fridge which was nice, but a micro wave would have been handy to have. It is a very quiet location. Breakfast in the morning was fair. The hot offering was eggs, potatoes and sausage. The eggs were tasteless and waterery. They were sitting in water. The potatoes were also tasteless. The sausage was the only thing that was actually edible. We were also disappointed that they did not offer the Fresh Baked Cookies that most Hamptons do. We will return to the other Hampton location on our next trip through.

We will be staying with our usual hotel, not this one. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average to below average. Please offer almond milk as a dairy alternative for coffee and cereal/oatmeal. Pleased that breakfast goes to 10am daily. Coffee approximated warm (needed to be fresher) and was available 24/7. Despite seeing housekeeping in the hallway (they were friendly as well) and asking for more towels, we didn't receive any housekeeping services at all. We needed to ask the front desk when we returned at night for more towels. The hotel needs some TLC and maintenance to repair some cosmetic issues. There were no working shades in our room, adjustments were to be made by the binder clips holding the curtains in place. This was a first. Binder clips? Yes indeed. Door to the bathroom is sliding barn door style with a 1" gap all the way at around, offering absolutely no privacy. Shower curtain was hung a couple inches too high, so it did not stay inside tub while showering. Plenty of parking. Lots of better alternatives in the area to n my opinion.
