I stayed at this Hampton Inn for 4 nights and had a very positive experience overall. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and in a convenient location for getting around the area. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. The three different front desk employees I interacted with were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The woman who oversees breakfast in the mornings was also wonderful and consistently made the breakfast area feel inviting. The complimentary breakfast was great each day, and my room was comfortable and clean throughout my stay. All of the room amenities worked as expected, including the iron and hair dryer, which I appreciated. My only suggestion for improvement would be the laundry room. It could use a little TLC in terms of general upkeep, and there was a noticeable odor in that area. That said, it didn't take away from an otherwise excellent stay. Overall, I would gladly stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff and a great breakfast. read more

Had some issues but there were resolved. The TV didn't work and they had to switch out the box, one of the queen beds had been made up but was missing the top sheet and two pillowcases. Desk chair kept dropping to the floor due to a bad gas cylinder. Ice machine on third floor not working and they know it doesn't work. The front desk has no idea where a room is on the map in relation to the elevators. I would think that since our first night was so bad that they would have done something for us but the manager said that since they fixed it the next day that there was nothing they could do for us. All of the rooms accommodate pets, no pet free rooms. Does have a small frig that freezes in the back and warm in the front. And yes, I checked to make sure the door was shut tight. No safe. Location is right on Hwy 123 and across the street from Ingles and Publix, Planet fitness 2 miles down the road. read more

If this place has open for 4 years already - I can't believe it. I had a great experience here - quiet hotel, super clean, reasonably fast wi-fi, and great service - both on check-in and check-out - but also in their warm breakfast buffet served daily. Speaking of amenities, their indoor gym (which I used) was HUGE and outdoor pool looked really nice. Overall, my top choice for staying in the Seneca / Clemson area. read more

Hotel in convenient location to shopping, dining and entertainment. Our bathroom was not very clean with spots on the floor (coffee or blood?) and the washcloth my son used had black marks from the previous users mascara. We started outside to use the pool, but there were 11 adults in the pool all drinking beer and liquor. When we confronted the front desk on duty, she told us there was nothing that she could do. When they finally left, the entire pool area smelled like alcohol. Not much of a family friendly hotel. Their "free" breakfast is not very good either -- eggs and sausage was cold, not sure if they had the burners working or not. Recommend to stay somewhere else or pitch a tent by the lake, cheaper for sure! read more

I tried plugging my CPAP machine into wall sockets on two different walls. My CPAP machine would not turn on so I figured that the CPAP machine was broken. When I returned home the next night it worked fine. When I called to complain I received an asinine reply that I should have flipped the switch on the wall. How was I to know this? read more

Pretty clean and quite, One of the first Hilton's i have been to, normally stay at IHG or Marriott, but this hotel was the best option for our visit, the hotel seemed pretty clean and the location we had was top floor on the corner, so it was quite for the most part, it seems like some remodeling is still being worked on, there was one day it was noisy, but it was only for a short time. the staff was great and the price wasn't too bad, maybe $20-30 higher then expected. read more

This is either a very new Hampton inn, or they just keep this place immaculate. The front desk personnel were very nice and helpful, and got me checked in right away. Room is typical Hampton inn, but a bit nicer than usual. Everything seems new. read more

First time staying in this city. I came in for a family emergency and they were beyond helpful. Especially the entire front desk staff even the house keeping staff were all very helpful and understanding of a stressful situation. A special thanks goes to Tiffany at the front desk she made me and my family feel right at home and worked to make sure we had a comfortable stay beyond that of what I would expect from any employee. Thank you so much for the wonderful customer experience. On to the hotel it's self. The room was very clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. Everything was very nice about this place except the smell in the room was so musty we had to ask for spray. It didn't work.

This is my 3rd time staying at this property. I must say that as far as Hampton Inns go, this is one of the nicer ones. I don't know the story on the property, but it is either newly constructed or newly renovated. My only complaint/ issue is I wasn't able to connect to the hotel Wifi while staying on the top floor. The breakfast in the morning is typical of all Hampton Inns, nothing to get excited about. Given there are not many hotel options in Seneca, I would say this is probably the nicest one. read more

WOW! Excellent place to stay. Very, very clean from the front door of the lobby all the way through the halls, elevator and our room. (My fiance and I are VERY picky and the room was just so clean and fresh!). The eating area was well lit and offered an above average breaky with a great variety of foods. The front desk staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The super-nice lady overseeing the breakfast made us feel like family with her smile and going out of her way to make sure we'd eaten enough and that everything was to our liking. We booked online, not via the front desk line, after reading the other reviews. I felt it very important to add our two cents worth. DEFINITELY recommend this hotel! read more

Let me put it this way, I have had a lot of bad experiences in Life but nothing so bad I felt the need to warn others. Until I booked a room here. So here I am just made a yelp account to warn others what The Hampton Inn put me through. I booked rooms idk, a while ago (week/s) Room paid for money withdrawn from my account. Even spoke about am I sure I want the rooms because of the busy weekend they would not honor their 24 hour cancelation policy and once the room was booked I was locked in for my 2 night stay. I confidently told them book the room for both nights. So they did. The money was removed from my account, then I show up at midnight the night of my first stay with them after a full day of traveling from LA & I am told that the General Manager gave my room away to someone else. A friend of his or something then when I arrive, I have no room, no notice, then I sit at front desk for an 35 (maybe 40min) while the guy behind the desk tries to get a hold of anyone but it doesn't matter who he speaks to, there are no rooms avail in their hotel anymore. There are no hotel rooms anywhere near by. They offered no help. The guy at the front desk told me that he isn't supposed to suggest other hotels near by. I couldn't stand to wait at that foot desk anymore and go searching for another room, there is nothing. The manager calls me and lied saying there is some mix up and that they tried to call me but dialed the wrong number which is complete BS. I still don't have my money returned to me. I travel often for biz and this has been the worst travel nightmare I have ever been subject to. So consider yourself warned. read more

This hotel was extremely clean and very reasonable for our family of four. A room with 2 queen beds was $110. They provided a complimentary breakfast which was delicious and included oatmeal, fresh fruit,cereal, waffles, eggs, potatoes, tortillas, juice, coffee, muffins, banana bread, bagels, etc. The pool was outdoors and looked nice but we did not have time to use it. We would stay again in a heartbeat. read more

This property is fantastic. Housekeeping has been very good. I'm not the type of person to ask for housekeeping each day. I mean I can reuse my towel. I do at home so why not? I came to the area for work visiting a major manufacturer in the Seneca area. I will tell you, each and every person who travels to this location for my company will stay here. This is almost unbelievable how clean and comfortable the staff make it. The people at the front desk are so nice. They even gave me a sheet on where the popular restaurants are located. Gave me good information about the area and were helpful with reminding me that breakfast was ready!!! Love this hotel. Can't say enough about it. Hazel was so nice, Lee who checked me in late at night was friendly and very professional. Outside grounds are well kept and in order. No garbage or beer cans/bottles laying around. Cigarette butts were picked up on a daily basis. All around great. read more
