Tony and I checked into the Hampton Inn during our 2 wk Bucket List trip across the US. This hotel is Fabulous! The staff we met was amazing! The hotel gorgeous! Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was so comfortable. Loved every minute of our stay. Used the business center for some printing and the laundry services for a quick load. $1.50 for each wash and dry cycle. Mostly nice ‍ I stayed here for a one night business trip. I stayed in a nonsmoking king bedroom suite. The entry way is really nice and the rooms doable. It appears like it's all old furniture and rooms they attempted to redo. Bed was comfortable and the cable and large TVs are great. My bed had hair that wasn't mine. I don't know if the sheets are properly laundered because there was short hair (like male hair) in the blankets. Free breakfast was nice but I don't know what is up with their "bacon" it's paper thin and stuck together. read more

This is the nicest Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. It's clean, beautifully decorated and the staff is very nice. The breakfast had just about everything you could think of and since I'm on a very restrictive type of diet, that was really nice. They had hard-boiled eggs, mixed nuts, dried fruit and everything else you'd expect including, whipped cream for the waffles. The room I'm in has some very nice features. There's an understated mid-century Modern theme. The headboard has dark turquoise​ padding and the coat rack has lime green hooks, but the rest of the decor is classy and subtle. Outside the doors, there are some nice photo accents of icons from the '70s​ like a car dashboard with ​traditional radio in it. In the bathroom, the drawers have a cut out in them so you can see the extra rolls of toilet paper and hairdryer​. For the longest time, hotels have had the hair dryer in the closets. That made no sense! Someone really put a lot of thought into the usability​ of the rooms, which I really appreciate. Highly recommended! read more

The high ratings across multiple websites are legit. We spent the night in Yuma and the Hampton Inn ended up being a great choice. They have a bunch of perks like coffee and cookies and the breakfast wasn't that bad. The location was idea because it was next to a large shopping center with plenty of places to eat. Staff was friendly and the rooms were pretty quiet. Though, our room door had a gap in it but fortunately it wasn't an issue. Recommend for travelers with and without families. read more

So I love Hamptons. I use them all across southern Arizona for business trips. In this location however, the bed in my room is so hard I might as well sleep on the floor. It even squeaks and squeals when I move. No big deal I said, I'll just call and request a different room. I was told "all beds are standard and the same". It's hard to believe that with all the other good reviews being posted. Hopefully they check this room after my sleepless night and put in a new mattress so nobody else has to go through this. read more

Although I appreciate having a bed to sleep in as a walk in and as a member of Hilton Honors, I wish I had AIR CONDITIONING, considering I'm paying $421 for one night. 81 degrees in the room! Had to travel for a funeral and feel so uncomfortable. At least the lady at the front desk is a plus for the establishment. She gave me the perfect room location. Nice comfortable rooms, reasonably quiet even near the elevator. Adequate parking but got pretty crowded later in the day. I booked 3 rooms for a family event and it went well, everyone enjoyed the stay, staff was pleasant and helpful when TV's needed to be reset. My biggest complaint is no cold beer available for purchase just from temp bottles. I'd stay here again though. read more

I'm surprised that the Hampton Inn was pricey for 1 night on a Thursday as a 1 king bedroom was almost $200 with tax. We stayed here for one night en route to San Diego. We arrived late at night and were greeted and given our room key. This Hampton Inn is a little dated but it did the job for a one night stay. Beds were comfy but the rooms got pretty chilly. With COVID, they have been good at trying to bring back breakfast service. Hot breakfast was offered with a hotel attendant of choices of scrambled eggs, waffles, and bacon. Cereal, coffee, juice, pre packaged muffins and other breakfast items were offered as grab and go options. Overall, besides the price of this stay, decent hotel stay with friendly staff. We truly enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located off I-8 but far enough no road noise. Lots of dining options. From Syerra greeting is at front desk to check out we had a nice stay. The room was clean, bed and bedding comfy. We had a room with two queen beds a nice sitting chair and desk chair and there was still plenty of room. Love having the small fridge to store my leftovers. Bathroom has a full size walk-in shower. No tub to step over, exceptional for those with knee or hip issues. Downstairs has a social living room with lots of seating and conversation options. They have a small frozen selection of meals for purchase that you can pop in your room microwave if you need a quick bite or meal. Snacks are available too. We were on the 3rd floor next to elevator my preference, and never heard any noise. This place looks brand new, but said it was recently remodeled. We did not use the gym or pool but saw some youngsters who enjoyed it. Breakfast changes a bit each morning. Makes it nice if your here for a few days. They also always have coffee, tea and flavored water out with fresh fruit and coffee in the afternoon. Forgot to mention the cookies. We will definitely stay here on our next trip. read more

A bit pricey for what you get. We got a king sized room with pull out couch. Almost $200 a night. Came with fridge and microwave. Wish there were more counter space and the bathroom is way too bright. It was clean. You could hear footsteps from upstairs during the night which made it hard to sleep, the air conditioner helped drowned out the sounds. If the air conditioner wasn't on the room got hot quick. My husband and I got up during the night just to keep the air conditioner going so we didn't have to hear the footsteps. Wouldn't stay here again if we came back to Yuma. read more

I have stayed here a few times for business now and have to say it's one of the top hotels in Yuma. I travel a lot for business and the Hampton Inn has quickly became one of my go-to hotels. The nice thing is that they're ALL modern, clean, reliable, and staffed with friendly people. On my most recent visit our corporate travel agent somehow booked a smoking room when I requested non-smoking. Luckily the guy checking me in noticed this and was able to switch me over to a non-smoking room for the night, then switch me to a standard room for the remaining two nights. I was extremely happy that he was able to accommodate me and I wasn't bothered to move rooms the next day. To make things easier, they let me drop by bag off at the front desk the next morning and had it waiting for me in my new room when I returned that evening. They have a nice big lobby with good breakfast, 24/7 coffee/tea, and cookies all for free! There is also a little "store" with snacks and drinks next to the check in area. The rooms are well sized (even the smaller rooms), have comfy furniture and beds. The internet is good and reliable, the closets are big with full length mirrors and the kitchenette is always a plus! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The price is generally cheaper than the newer and larger Holiday Inn down the road. read more

I stayed here 4th of July weekend because my dad had past away from covid. Two employees made my stay great. Until one employee gave a my info out to a family member that ended up stealing my rental car&other things. I called the manager,and he was no help stating his employee never gave any info out. I was stranded in az because info was givin out. Like it wasn't bad enough my father past but to have my personal info be givin out was even worse. Ill never stay there again. No dad,no car rental,no cash. What else could go wrong? I give this place no stars,but it made me give some type or else it wouldn't post. read more

We are here for a 2 day stay. Unfortunately no one seems to be caring about the up keep of the hotel or the amenities. The pool area looks like it has not been cleaned in a number of days the handicap accessible chair is broken and in piece s and the pool skimmer and cleaning system are not working properly. A decent room and breakfast was included, but I think it's a little pricey for the area and quality of the hotel. We are a family of five and it is tough to find a room that will sleep all of us. Bed was comfortable and so was the pull out bed where husband and son slept. The breakfast was great for a hotel meal and many options for grab and go. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Overall, our experience was great and we would consider staying again. Also, you can tell they are cleaning well to keep with COVID protocols. Very happy with our Hampton Inn stay. Lily at the the front desk went above and beyond to help our family in our last minute trip. She even arranged a bereavement rate. All of the employees have been friendly and helpful. The free parking and wifi were great. The breakfast every morning from 6-10 was full of variety and always well stocked with fresh appetizing food. The fitness center is small but clean and certainly fits the bill. Very comfortable room and stay and it was a good price. I would say it is the best place to stay while traveling through Yuma AZ. The location is good too. We were able to walk to the food places and there is a big shopping mall across the street along with a movie theater. The breakfast was a typical eats and bacon or sausage breakfast and some fruit or cereal. The free breakfast is very convenient because we did not have to go someplace and eat after waking up. We plan to stay here again next time we drive through Yuma. read more

Stayed with my family of four in a room with two queens and a folding sofa,checked in late the first night and I was tired from driving so wasn't really listening to the desk clerk who was extremely helpful when she told me that there were complementary treats in the room and was amazed by how many things were there and had to verify the next morning because it's a treat that you rarely find these days,nothing earth shattering but a nice surprise!! I unfortunately didn't get the names of staff but I will definitely stay here again,the only downfall was no daily cleaning but that's no fault of the staff. read more

This is a very good, clean with reasonable rates, place to stay in Yuma. Ample self parking. Right off I8 freeway, next to Palms shopping area and many restaurants. Very clean, good service at front desk. Serves a free, but simple hot Breakfast until 10:00 am and has Coffee, Hot Chocolate & Tea (also fruits) available all day for your enjoyment, even has cup with covers so you can grab a cup to go. They have a small work out room and a small business center as well as a small 24 hour snack shop manned by the front desk. Could be the best value in Yuma for hotel. Recommended. read more

This place is great. I happened to mention last night that I really, really liked bacon. This morning, I came down to the ample and diverse breakfast area, and the staff there had made me a plate full of bacon. Like, a giant plate. Of bacon. For me. Just because I mentioned that I really really like bacon. The room was awesome. Big comfy bed, pull out bed for a third person, kitchenette, great water pressure. It's located within walking distance of half a dozen (probably more) restaurants, and a movie theater. The staff is amazing. All of our interactions with them were just super. They really made our night in Yuma awesome, going out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed. Henry, the night guy (who remembered that I really really like bacon), and Hector, the evening guy (who diligently searched for a karaoke joint) made our stay fantastic. And the coffee is wonderful. And available. 24/7. Along with fresh fruit, bananas, oranges and apples. I'm writing this review in the breakfast area while I'm starting down a plate of bacon, so I'm a little flowery. Given that the price is in line with any corporate level hotel, I would chose to spend my money here. A real gem of a place. So glad we tried it out. read more

Tale of two stories. First stay outstanding service. Manager even gave room upgrade to my fellow service member (I'm an hhonors gold member). This afternoon I check in to the same hotel and the manager lies to me and tells me no upgrade rooms are available. I call them on it and was told we don't upgrade government rates. I show them that they did for my last visit with them. The manager asked if I had used the room. I said I had showered. He said there was nothing he could do about it. If Hilton is your brand, recommend Homewood Suites or Hilton Garden Inn. read more
