His crew was already in the neighborhood and showed up just a few hours later. They safely took down all three trees (including a full stump grind on the big one near the house), removed a giant heavy branch hanging toward our roof from the utility tree, and trimmed two others. Everything was done professionally with great care around the house, power lines, and landscaping. They clearly know what they're doing and worked efficiently -- the whole job only took a couple of hours. The price was very fair for the amount of work and the risks involved. They were planted in large holes with loose, rich soil at the bottom, adequately watered and got partial sun (they are supposed to do well in full shade or full sun). Didn't matter. 90% of them are completely dead now. That's nearly $2,000 in dead plants.
