I normally go for AYCE sushi, but had lunch here with family while shopping. The rolls are typical of what you'd expect at any other sushi place. The sushi was at a good temperature, so no worries about getting food poisoning. There weren't too many customers; however, our server, who was nice, wasn't that attentive. We had wish he'd stop by often because we needed a few things. Our server forgot about one of the items we ordered, and when we reminded him, we were already finished eating and ready to leave. Overall, it's an OK establishment if you are really craving sushi and there are no other options nearby. read more

Having recently moved to Menifee after living for several decades in Orange County, I went in search of a good local sushi restaurant. I had three or four favorites in my old neighborhood and I was hoping to find a nearby restaurant that was comparable. I chose Hana Sushi since it was list as No. #1 in the top ten for "Best Sushi Near Me in Menifee, CA on Yelp." The restaurant was conveniently close, it was clean and the service was prompt and attentive. I chose a Hana Combo C: Chicken Teriyaki & Assorted Sushi [See Photo]. It was elegantly prepared, moderately priced and looked delicious. By this time you may be wondering - why is this person giving them a THREE. Up until my first few bites I thought I had found my place. Unfortunately, the flavor of the food was different than what I was expecting. I gave them a three because SUSHI is a matter of taste and I know we all have different palates. I do not claim to be a sushi connoisseur, it just didn't WOW me. They didn't DO anything wrong, but the food they prepared just wasn't something I want to go back for. Typically I eat everything on my plate, salad, entrée, rice, sushi, etc. In this case I left most of my salad after 2 bites, only finished about 2/3s of the chicken and while I did finish the sushi, it was not terrific, it was just okay. So do not let this review prevent you from giving this place a try. You may love it. For me? I am going to keep looking. read more

The salmon. sashimi are fresh and served in large slices, which I thoroughly enjoy. Unfortunately, I am unable to order the 3x3 sashimi plate because they cannot substitute tuna with another fish, as I do not eat tuna. However their crunchy and spider roll are delicious. Ok, stop the presses. I have been sleeping on this place for 4 years. Always curious, but never adventurous enough to walk in and experience what I now know to be the absolutely best Tonkotsu Ramen I have ever had! The presentation is mouth watering. The colors and textures are sublime. The quality of ingredients and the skill taken during preparation is obvious. Finally, let me not forget... the broth of this soup is absolutely superb. Hello buddy went to Hana sushi last night. The food was fantastic fresh the waiters and waitresses and Sushi chefs were great very nice pieces very fresh everybody smiling everybody happy we had the Albacore, yellowtail, salmon and tuna. Everything was very fresh and tasty with some fresh wasabi a lot of ginger and he gave me a sauce that they make the garlic edamame arrow on the side. It was so delightful what I really liked about the place was the attitude of the people that work there are several was name Mai Super helpful super friendly. I highly recommend this place. we ordered the teriyaki chicken, jalapeño poppers, The caterpillar roll, which was yummy and a regular California roll for the girls a crunch roll and the funky monkey. It was all delicious. Let me tell you the sushi rice was soft. I love that and when we ordered they gave us like 10 to go soy sauce packets everything was really delicious and the fish was fresh!! we order sushi often and this place was really yummy!!! cant wait to eat here more!! definitely recommend coming here it is awesome!! sometimes I don't like that they put the sushi rolls all in one box because if it's spicy and then the next roll is not the spicy it gets on that roll so it kind of mixes. but overall definitely delish!! yum!! read more

nice interior, good service, food is a little overpriced I understand food quality is supposed to be equivalent to price to a lot of their customers it seems but the quality is not far off of other places in the area that are a little more affordable for what it is maybe I'm just spoiled since I used to live in OC/LA where it's a lot easier to find good quality affordable sushi but regardless, I won't deny that the food here is actually good I got the honeymoon roll and the katsu combo, both really yummy, the katsu was a little too crispy for my preference but my boyfriend loved it so just depends how you prefer your katsu read more

I ordered a diet coke, and they had no diet available. The miso soup (not pictured) that came with the meal was piping hot, but the flavor was not as good as others I have had. When they brought my chicken bento box, which included California Roll, there was no wasabi or ginger. I had to ask the waitress for wasabi, and then she said, "You want wasabi?" as if that was something unusual. Finally, my favorite sushi places have a list of items to choose from for their bento box. They may list 8 or 10 items and ask you to pick 2 or 3. At my other places I might choose, chicken and beef and a spicy tuna roll (vs California roll). Then you get those plus the soup, salad, etc. At Yoshiharu Ramen, it is a set list of items. You only get to pick a meat in the bento box (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, etc.) Their other sushi or ramen may be terrific. So if you are nearby and want sushi or ramen, don't let me dissuade you. The reason I take the time to write a detailed review is so readers can understand MY criteria and why for me, this restaurant is okay, just not a 4 or 5 on my chart.

I will have to return soon, but I'm vegetarian so I might have some limitation, but we'll see. Maybe they'll whip something up? The interior is trying to be real hip and it sort of works in a positive way but a little bit of that modern gauche. You know, kind of like Z gallery meets mid-century with a slight Lichtenstein tribute with a cartoonish flavour. It does work though, and carries to the exterior or the exterior carries to the interior? With the limitations of a strip mall it's a little bit hard to put lipstick on a pig. But they've executed it well and it's inviting and a departure from the norm. I'm excited to get there soon.

I don't know if it's under new ownership or what but everything seems different. we had to ask a few times for certain sauces, and we ordered dinner online and they gave us an open bottle of wine that was wrapped in a plastic bag. my husband didn't notice it was open until we got home and didn't wanna drive another 20 minutes back to grab another one when we had a busy day and just were hungry. when we called for a refund they refused and kept saying that they would have to talk to the manager who apparently wasn't there. my husband could've been arrested for the situation that they put him in and we just wanted them to make it right and they refused. they did not call us back after we called them multiple times trying to figure out how to rectify the situation. read more

The salmon was so buttery and fresh it practically melted in my mouth, and the tuna was unlike any I've had at other sushi places -- even the color was noticeably richer and more vibrant. I Booked a party for the patio for 10 people we get there and are told the patio is closed. We express our frustration and the owner says fine I'll put you out there but we won't be turning the heaters on.. it was extremely cold out and we waited 20 min for a server. We left and took our business to Murrieta Hana who treated us like gold and were so happy to accommodate us. Never going back these people are a whole different level of rude and have ran this place into the ground with their nasty attitudes in the menifee location.
