Had the pleasure of wining & dining at the recently opened The Meat & Wine Co. Parramatta…read more We started with a Raw feed to share: Wagyu Tartare: Finely chopped Wagyu with smoked yolk and tangy green dressing. Octopus: Shaved Octopus with chives, peri peri and lemon. Salmon: Whisky cured Salmon with cauliflower custard cream and fresh roe... All three of these dishes were a light and refreshing start to a three course meal ahead. I would highly recommend the shaved octopus it's unlike anything I've ever tried, thinly sliced and seasoned well, light and airy. For entrée I had the Pork Belly, which was chilli lime basted pork belly with kimchi crumb, puffed crackling and served with greens, adzuki beans and ponzu dressing. Main I opted for the Rib Eye (pictured) is a beef steak from the rib section. The rib eye steak's internal fat melting into the meat creates one of the juiciest steak eating experiences imaginable. And dessert Apple Pie: fried apple pastry with apple toffee cream, sour apple gel, mascarpone icecream and smoked maple syrup... If you're an apple pie lover, (yes that includes Maccas apple pie) then you're going to love this. It may not be the most photogenic of the lot, but damn this apple pie is whack! Crisp on the outside, soft apple centre and drizzled with maple oooh it's a dream.

Skewers were sufficient to share with another person as the serving is generous. Garlic buns were my favorite. Restaurant is very clean and deco is awesome.

Overpriced steak. Chicken was awesome! Prawns were small but good. Beer was cool not cold but they replaced without complaint when asked. Very noisy! This place fit the bill but be careful because apparently some Rashays outlets are BYO and others are fully licensed so you'll have to buy their booze. I arrived 20 mins early so grabbed one of the tables outside. Sure it looks onto the carpark of Westfields but it faced West and the arvo sun was great to have wine number one while waiting for the others to arrive. It's a pretty big place with a stack of seating both inside and out. As someone else mentioned the staff are very attentive. Its almost American style service where you are allocated a 'server' at the beginning of the night and they stick with you till you leave. They can seem a bit over zealous but it's certainly better than no one paying any attention. They were buzzing around topping up water every few minutes, clearing stuff away, and constantly checking if everything was okay or if there was anything else you needed. The food is basic but really flavoursome and good sized servings. We shared some wedges and then each had either steak or chicken for the main. Each came with their signature mushroom sauce too. You can tell its a chain type restaurant but the food is still really good, it doesn't cost a fortune, and its a great place to share a few drinks and a meal.
