Salmon: Whisky cured Salmon with cauliflower custard cream and fresh roe... All three of these dishes were a light and refreshing start to a three course meal ahead. I would highly recommend the shaved octopus it's unlike anything I've ever tried, thinly sliced and seasoned well, light and airy. For entrée I had the Pork Belly, which was chilli lime basted pork belly with kimchi crumb, puffed crackling and served with greens, adzuki beans and ponzu dressing. Main I opted for the Rib Eye (pictured) is a beef steak from the rib section. The rib eye steak's internal fat melting into the meat creates one of the juiciest steak eating experiences imaginable. And dessert Apple Pie: fried apple pastry with apple toffee cream, sour apple gel, mascarpone icecream and smoked maple syrup... If you're an apple pie lover, (yes that includes Maccas apple pie) then you're going to love this. It may not be the most photogenic of the lot, but damn this apple pie is whack! There's ample room to grab a seat inside although there is also a take-away and home delivery option. When in Rome, or in this case Tuscany or to be more specific Carlingford, we always seem to do what the Italians do and over order. A pizza (or two) to share between everyone, an entree each, a main of pasta each, a dessert each(the tirimasu seems to be the most popular option) and a coffee to help digest it down. They were buzzing around topping up water every few minutes, clearing stuff away, and constantly checking if everything was okay or if there was anything else you needed. The food is basic but really flavoursome and good sized servings. We shared some wedges and then each had either steak or chicken for the main. Each came with their signature mushroom sauce too.
