We ordered the most raved about dishes - moqueca de camarao (fabulous shrimp curry with coconut milk and veggies) and the chicken stroganhoff (creamy chicken dish). Both the dishes were bursting with flavors. We devoured them both with a plate of rice and fries. Service was fantastic and the server was very friendly and made every attempt to tell us the most authentic way of eating these dishes. Great location in the centre of town on a busy pedestrian street…read more We got the seafood moqueca which is a Brazilian seafood dish which comes with a steaming seafood stew, rice, forofa (toasted cassava mixture) and pirao (a type of gravy made of fish broth). The dish was big enough for at least 3 people so be careful of portion size when you order. We have been told this is the case for a lot of restaurants in Brazil. The food was alright but felt like something was missing. The search for the perfect moqueca continues. Service was good, cold beers were good.

Amazing crust, light, made with Italian flour (the owner, who also serves the clients, is Italian and loves Pizza). The tomato sauce is awesome, great taste! The Margherita comes with small pieces o tomato, instead of huge slices of it (as it is common in other places). Don't be fooled by the appearances! This small humble place beats most of the fancy Restaurants in Buzios! If by Buzios, you should give it a shoot! A Pizza-place so good that would make success in bigger cities as well. The only downside is that all the ingredients are superb, but the cheese is a simple, regular mozzarella, and that kind of unbalances the Pizza. To be fair, they do have a Margherita that comes with Buffalo mozzarella, that one should give it a try (we had a regular Margherita, with the regular Mozzarella). UPDATE: The owner contacted me to said that he was sad that I though the Mozzarella was a simple one, as he said that he uses a very good one, that you cannot find at the regular market. Oh, well... apparently my taste sucks in recognizing good cheese!! In any case, I feel obliged to update this review with this extra info!

We ordered a fish sauteed in a great sauce and the cover in shrimp. It was served with mash potatoes. There were two beers and two Cokes and the total came to 220.00 reis.
