Today took the car in as it was misbehaving on cold starts, they gave it a through check over testing all kinds of things that are way beyond my knowledge or understanding of cars but delivered the bad news that it was going to be a big and expensive job to repair. Doesn't need to be done immediately so went and collected the car fully expecting to pay for the tome they spent looking at it and was handed the keys and told to go think about what I wanted to do...no charge! Think they may have felt sorry for me. Previous work has always been done to a high standard so will definitely be back just perhaps not with my current car

This shop sells everything you could need including much local produce such as potatos and farm foods from the local area - I've bought many a packet of prepacked turnips in here! I like this shop as it is right next to a cash machine that doesn't charge you to get your own money and it is right next to a quality off licence. There are two draw backs about this Mace, one is that it is smallish and has very poor parking outside - maybe room for ten cars in total? Also it is right next to a play park so it is always busy! Still, it is well stocked if you need dinner but don't want to go to a bigger store and it is the only petrol pumps for a good bit if you need a top up as you come through Comber!

They have all the usual things you would expect for this type of shop; flowers, groceries, cards, magazines, a small range of health and beauty products, care care products, tobaccoo products and a lottery/scratchcard till. I particularly like their hot food counter (love the jambons) if I'm in early enough to get some!
