    Steak sandwich

Whenever I come to Nashville for work I stay at the Embassy Suites Downtown SPECIFICALLY for this restaurant. You can get it for room service and everything is so good. The people that bring up the room service are from the restaurant staff and they are always so nice. My favorite items are definitely the steak sandwich and brussel sprouts.

Located in embassy hotel. Not sure about the parking, though there is a lot next door & close to broadway. Server was kind, had a fair understanding about the severity of a GF allergy. Had GF pasta dish. Burger good, Brussels also crispy and delicious. Darkly light, live music, chairs semi size friendly.

In town solo and had a great time listening to live music midweek. Tried the raspberry julep which may be my new favorite drink and something I'll try making at home now. The steak sandwich was good but I'd try something else next time. Good vibes!

Lunch spot with friendly & fast service. Ordered the steak salad. Immediately said absolutely not to the steak and swapped in salmon. Salmon is better anyway. Best decision of the day. The salmon was solid, the salad still hearty, and I got all the steakhouse vibes without committing to steakhouse consequences. Love a flexible menu moment.

Lovely presentation. The flavor of the spinach dip was good, however the consistency was similar to that of a paste. That on top of dry bread did not pair well in my opinion. The salad was great, 10/10 highly recommend. The bar staff's awareness of hygiene etiquette is questionable. The lady kept fiddling around with her hair. The male appeared to touch his nose/face. Exposed bruises were on the back side of his hands. Neither seemed to wash their hands after these actions. In addition, the attention to service and the needs of the customers were subpar. The host was not personable. She did not part her lips to greet us coming in/leaving out. They would be better off having a statue stationed at the host stand. The experience here was underwhelming.

Truffle burger with large order of fries

We went out to dinner with a client. The waiter was excellent. I decided to order truffle burger which was good. I added a large fries which were below average and left most of them. Total was $30 for burger with fries in my opinion not worth it. The sangria also was not good. The musician was very good! The place was clean and had a good staff.

Went for our anniversary and had Darrian as our server. He went above and beyond for us. We split a Caesar salad to start and they actually brought it out split! It was a great touch. My husband got a tomahawk steak and enjoyed every bite. I got the smallest steak they had and it was delicious. Everything cooked to perfection and our server was amazing! The decor was cool and we had candles on our tables. Bathroom very clean! We would definitely go back if in the area again.

Service has been impeccable, bands are solid. Flavor out of this world. 6 out of 5 stars. Truly a great experience.

    Lava Cake

In town for a conference at Music City Center. Almost walked past this place because it blends in so well with the rest of the block. Checked in with the server and went with outdoor seating. Very nice atmosphere on the inside but the weather was so nice I couldn't pass up outdoor seating. Service was prompt and attentive. I decided to go with a Routstock Cabernet and small salty fries for an appetizer. For the main I chose the ribeye and citrus asparagus. Steak was cooked well. I would have preferred a thick cut version for a bit more. Thin cut steaks remind me too much of a Waffle House breakfast item. The lava cake for dessert was the crowning item. The raspberry compote was an amazing addition to the cake. Service and atmosphere are good. This would be a nice place to grab a drink on the patio and watch the birds fly around if you wanted to skip the main course.

Me and my family were visiting Nashville for a few nights, we went to Hand Cut on the first night. After a long travel day, we wanted a quiet and relaxing place. The lighting in the restaurant was perfect, and the atmosphere was gorgeous. They had live music, more like folk covers of songs. That in my opinion was PERFECT because it gave off that night-life that you look for in Nashville but not overwhelming. The food was INCREDIBLE, I had the burger with house sauce and it was arguably the best burger i've ever eaten, which says a lot considering i'm from Chicago. My father ate the New York strip and loved it, cooked to perfection. The service was wonderful, quick and attentive. Also, my father had like a smoked mai tai or something? unsure but he said it was the best thing he had ever drank. Overall, I couldn't recommend a place more. 10/10!!

Very good food. Had a great cheese burger and artichoke spinach dip. Our server answered all our questions fully.

We went in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet still, but the bar tenders were friendly and helpful. And although I'm not a huge tequila fan, I was impressed with my drink. Prices were reasonable for the drinks we ordered and this bar being located on Broadway. Definitely worth a visit.

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
